If you do get things figured out let me know and show me how and I'll be eager to help. I played it to death starting with 4.0 and still played it regularly up until it was broken by the engine updates, the version you repacked was a lot buggier and less fully featured than the last version I remember playing though. If you want to add new things, if I were you I'd go back to a more stable release and start there.

I'm more or less tinkering with the Smod: Tactical leak. My intention is to create a somewhat large pack of varying, challenging terrorist and zombie hunt modes to accompany the download, as well as editing several files to make the Smod features more palatable and less game-breaking. Mostly I'm looking for good maps to add and then possibly help figuring out how to write mappadds if I can't figure it out on my own. I've managed to a few mapadds, but they are a bit on the buggier side as of yet. The largest issue I see with the Smod release is the inclusion of supercharged smod enemies and a lack of emphasis on the ability to use random node placement to add npcs. I'm not sure how much I can modify by digging though all of the config and lua files, but I'm looking to figure it out.

It's unfortunate there is a lack of documentation on the Smod: Tactical releases because my biggest issue right now is figuring out editable values and documenting the relevant variables to those values.

Are you actually working on Smod Tactical? Even if it's just a little miscellaneous repackaging?
