It's probably a fundamental issue with OLED. The 808 Pureview was nHD and it had like 500+nit brightness without breaking a sweat last year, and that's with Nokia's extremely conservative brightness clamping. Maybe Samsung will find a way to deal with the problem though.

Low active area on the display basically means that the amount of area on the screen that is actually lit up is a very low percentage compared to LCD. It causes some very, VERY weird effects with the right test patterns because it will make the dead space between the pixels very obvious.

Thanks for the criticism and actually giving it some attention. I wasn't really going for professionalism, though. My aim for that site would just be a semi intellectual point of view from a gamer. And the point I was trying to make was that they sold well, but they don't really have a lot of games. The Wii and Kinect were appealing looking gimmicks.
