Yeah, that exact same thing has happened to me before, its the most frightening thing possible. I basically spend every 30 minutes checking for nose bleeds and basically doing a run up of everything possible to make sure things are still normal. If nothing appears in two weeks, you're fine.
Though imagine how I felt when I came down with the flu just a few days in.
