I can understand that. But spend 3 years in the U.K and you will be pronouncing English words like a Baws. Also,I have heard that your people are some of the friendliest in the world lol. My friend got hugged by a complete stranger on the streets of Oslo once. Can't tell if friendly or homo.

English is obligatory in Norwegian schools. But I guess it stick on some better than others. I really did not learn that much English in school. I learned on the net.
That is to say, I can write and read it fine, but hear me speak it and you will laugh your ass off.

Do you guys study English in your schools? I had a few Norwegian exchange students who came to my school for a few months,they totally couldn't speak English,lol. But after awhile,they managed to get the hang of speaking a foreign language. :v

Well we are, but that is because we have insane strict rules for bloody everything. Sometimes it gets silly.

A-ha isn't that bad lol,I have every reason to be proud of them. But you have got to admit your country has a lot of rich history. I'm sure your dad was around during the Nazi occupation of Norway. Also,I have heard your country is one of the cleanest in the world. o_O

Only certain aspects of it. We are secular, good education, a safety net for the poor and good healthcare. But was never the big patriot.
I am however not proud of A-ah in the same way Canada is not proud of Celine Dion^^
