Hey, I had a question about one of your posts and didn't want to derail the thread -- I never knew McCain was born outside the continental US, but aboard a military installation. I thought military installations counted as US soil, same way all embassies function? That wouldn't preclude him from a presidency, would it?
This is nagging me especially hard because I remember having a conversation about this in my 8th grade history class but I can't for my life remember whether or not these cases counted as being born in the US
Glad I wasn't the only one in that thread who's tired of the incorrect interpretation of the Bible.
Holy moly man, the Iowa thread is moving so quick that I can't keep up with it. I'm sitting here picking my words carefully, apparently most people aren't doing that.
I thank you for being respectful in the discussion, and ending it when appropriate, also yea looking back on it now the CEB isn't all that good. I generally read the NIV or King James
Don't hate on sgman. His function is basically as an 'everything devil's advocate' and I think that's an important role to have filled in any discussion. I can't say I'm opposed to asking any of the questions he asks, because I'm right if I'm right and if I'm not, that's even more important.
Glad to have you back, we need a few more voices of discord in the ol' echo chamber.
I can't give ratings on the mass debate subforum, so I just thought I'd come here to say that I like the way you think.
It's good to see someone who is knowledgeable regarding various doctrines in various Christian religions, and presenting your views accordingly with evidence.
You should totally find a slow moving gif of the sun that is small enough to fit where it is now because that would be awesomesauce
