All textbooks have strengths and shortcomings. I've never really encountered one that is super good or super bad. And if I'm having trouble understanding a certain topic I'll usually just go to the library and grab a book that deals with that topic specifically.

not a clue, but it's all going to be spent on new gear
It'll either be a guitar or an amp, thing is I like my guitar and my amp already, I've only got a 15w amp but I never needed anything bigger as I only play out of my room, and buying a 50 or 70w amp would just be useless because I don't need more volume I just need a better sounding amp

I only just started playing again, I lost all motivation for like six months but I got it all back a while ago
what's better is I got given $800 for my 18th birthday so I have $800 bucks to spend on new gear when I want another guitar or amp

Of course i know how to bend and other techniques
and I know most of those scales off by heart already, harmonic minor is god tier

and I can improv lol, I just want to do it a different way now
