Man, it just got me thinking about the fact that we've only explored an extremely small fraction of the ocean floor and it takes up SO MUCH of the earth. It's impossible NOT to be fascinating to me, especially with all the scary shit we've found so far. There's endless material for a good horror story there.

But the weirdest thing I've thought about is...what if there's something at the bottom of the ocean somewhere that totally reveals how humans came to be or something. It really gets under my skin knowing what we could be discovering down there. As far as I'm concerned, days not spent looking deeper is waste of time. I know it's very expensive, but it's totally worth it in my opinion.

Dude, as dumb as it sounds, I can't thank you enough for a post you made a while back about the NOAA. It seriously opened my eyes to something that's been right in front of me my whole life and it gave me something to think about.

I'm not even joking, that single post you made got me more interested in the ocean as a whole, which lead to a shitload of deep thinking when I was by myself. It seriously helped out with my depression at the time, and again, I know how stupid this sounds being over a fucking post on the internet, but really, thank you.

I read your white flight post. You are definitely one of the best posters here. Most adults have a difficult time trying to see things from a different community's perspective, let alone teenage Facepunchers. It's much easier (lazier) to say "Black people just sit in their ghetto and cash welfare checks while they wait for another excuse to loot a liquor store", or to hide behind racist weasel terms like "thug culture". Acknowledging that racial tensions are a societal problem and not just an innate flaw in black people means recognizing that the responsibility lies with all of us...and that given the right set of circumstances, we could easily wind up doing the same thing.

    Cheers, mate.
