I didn't want to waste space on the main thread, so I'll ask here. Is the SL8 based on an L96 (back half) and a G36C (front half)?

I stopped for a little while then when I saw there were well over 1k new posts I said, Screw it, I'll go through it this weekend. So on Saturday and Sunday I'll read the posts and get back in.
