A as in a string tuned to A, or as in the second thickest string on a bass tuned to C standard?

Actually, scrap that. I left a cable I need at my band's practice place, won't be able to get it until monday, and from monday on I won't be able to get on my recording PC for at least a week, so you might as well use your friend's recording.

Confused about the tuning. What's the first note in the song supposed to be? The one you wrote as fifth fret on A?
