i think they should have learned from the time when the DK2's lenses got scratched by the included lens cleaning cloth
"The guy just literally pulled a gun on me, like 5 seconds ago", says terrified prankster after pulling a gun at a handful of other people
yes and rage's heavily lossy compressed textures sure did it some favours. of course it's hypothetically possible - that's not what megatexture's downfall was. the problem was that while megatextures...
point cloud literally a dot with color and position. it is a texture pixel in 3d space and will at minimum occupy double the data of a pixel (rgb , xyz). they can have the most efficient lookup and...
even a single senior artist for half a year would give them ample results to demonstrate their technology; if they very much wanted to see what actual artists could achieve then maybe they should...
and they still can't hire a proper in-house artist..

a very efficient way of loading texture memory was developed by a very reputable person and was marketed as unlimited...
pt and (if it is representative) silent hills seems to be a more thrilling horror compared to the slow simmering dread of the earlier silent hill games
and i think i will welcome it as a new...
iirc source will disable per-vertex lighting on materials with normal maps and opt for ambient light sampling instead

it's a source thing is what im saying
that guy's a condescending shit and puts up videos that are just as technically unknowledgeable. but. let's not base a reputation of a channel on one video, especially when a channel's content is...
yeah because then the next one would have come out by then, lol
you can do it if you want. mainly only in cases where there's minute / half coverings like dirt and grime
ue4 has a metalness buffer you can look at
it's much more intuitive to just say
-albedo is the color of your object
-metalness is how metallic your outer surface is
-roughness is how rough the outer surface is
instead of going on about...

lol I can't believe they didn't attempt to quantify something as finnicky and contextual as performance
military designations aren't trademarked and a lot of weapons in military service use designs with expired patents and on top of that gun likenesses are rarely if ever patented (except hk guns)
weight it and use it as a minimalist bookend
a lot of it is precomputed, the 'real' part comes from having someone with a good eye for lighting or materials (or a materials calibrated from real life), and even at this moment less subtle...
there exists a number of general cultural norms of sexualized traits which may differ from gender to gender; that is why a pose that may be suggestive with a lady may not be quite as arousing when...
and to some people it might; theres nothing wrong with that
there is no need ability, or an authority for determination because it is up to both the artists' presentation and the audience's individual acceptance/rejection of the presentation. I think you are...
you can present anything in any way you want but it is up to the audience if they want to accept or be convinced by that presentation
it's both. they both have power. it's not a binary situation....
I am not sure where you are getting that from as I have repeatedly stated that the reader has just as much power in interpretation as the writer
6th September 2014
like the video said,...
whoa! let's not get into generalizations and assumptions here: I agree that an interpretation of a sexual tone is both up to the reader and the writer, but I think you are underestimating the amount...
no. it is the exact opposite of objectivity

i think you have misunderstood these posts
the concept of sex is different from the sexualization of something and would depend on the intentions of the artist and the audience - you can certainly have two identical poses displayed with...
Why is Modern Art so Bad (to me)?
he's right, but probably not in the way he thinks is right
don't get me wrong, FEAR's AI is great, but a lot of the features that set it above the rest is really in the design (very aggressive, very accurate, very fast reaction, very vocal) which leads them...
Some people may view the purpose of DRM as a solution to piracy but by this time a lot of (but not all) efforts in DRM have been aimed at merely deterring or inconveniencing piracy long enough to...
fear's ai seems a lot better than it actually is because they yell out everything they're going to do like a left in debug feature and it makes you feel smart when you inevitably intercept them
hot dang! Imagine having the balls to set up a fraudulent company and hire professionals at the age of 15
you've got smoothing group changes without accompanying uv seams, right

because that is bad and not a thing you want

because smoothing group splits...
if the meshes are not triangulated already then just reset xforms and run it through flatten mapping
if you already have a properly unwrapped mesh then you can probably just pack those instead but...
yeah that shelf looks interesting to look at but I can't imagine how anyone would use it to actually put stuff on top of it
the mechanism was planned with an intermediate round but its adoption and mainstream production began with a battle rifle as an alternative to the FAL

that's not true, the g3 platform was later on adopted into an intermediate cartridge with the hk33 / hk53 but originally it was a battle rifle
most sport games have relatively fewer asset variety and a clearly defined playable space where anything outside of that can have a

why? you should be used to not getting updates if you're a source / hammer user
+ if you want to sell a source game you probably have to pay up front and then there's probably a steam exclusivity...
yes, but this is going into the source engine so
rage can be praised about a lot of things but i think your post is a little misguided
