Wait, what, when did that happen? I thought she just left her apartment in a hurry.
At first, I wanted to say that this finale was underwhelming, with no real closure on the mystery of the Yellow King, but after awhile I realized that it was right as it was supposed to be. The whole...
Just wondering, if such outfit is even possible?
It's difficult to make something not totally ridiculous and original for Pyro, especially with Dethkapp - I have a...
I've been lucky, because I've watched Psycho without it being spoiled yet I wasn't so fortunate with Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back. Shame, because the big reveal would be an amazing twist to...
Spoilers don't have an expiration date.
I was thinking about this, and although it looked OK, it still wasn't my ideal Medic coat, similar to something like this:...
My vote is still for Craig Ferguson.
My favourite part of the marketing of last Muppets film were the fake posters and trailers, and they're back:
So, this happened:
I like to keep things simple and aesthetic. My newest loadout, Prussian General:
If you expect every year in 10 nominees for Best Picture to have 5 men and 5 women, from which 3 of them are white, 3 of them are black, 3 of them are Asian with one being a mix of all of them, then...
Book of Exodus and Moses' life is one of the best stories in the Old Testament. Certainly more interesting film-wise than Noah.
The only thing that Ridley Scott has to do to make it a masterpiece is...
I really doubt it, unless you mean after solving this case. It's essentially his Moby Dick, something he committed his life to. He won't give it up, and he will get this case to the end by all means...
"You're a shit doctor. How can you even diagnose my cancer, when you don't have a cancer yourself?"
You know what, I just realized how happy I am because American Hustle lost in every category it was nominated. Take that, David O. Russel, and create a better plot next time.
That's a wrap. Gentlemen, it was a pleasure and privilege to comment the Oscars with you. Till the next year!
Last year it was Clooney, this year it's Pitt. It's obvious - if Leo still wants his Oscar he needs to go into producing films.
The term you're looking for is "white guilt".
Congratulations to Brad Pitt for his first Oscar! :v:
Now God has an even score with Harvey Weinstein in the record of times being thanked during winning speech.
He deserved it, it was his year.
Bale winning would be the only AH win I could accept.
And now, the most interesting and even category this year. I have honestly no idea who may win it, but seeing how previously there was literally no surprises (except with Gravity sweep everything), I...
Yay for Cate. Yay for failed and disappointed Weinstein.
Fingers crossed for someone that's not Amy Adams. But she'll probably win, she did a better job in Her than in AH. Cate Blanchett may not win after that Woody Allen shit recently.
I love how Bill Murray just shakes his fist instead of clapping.
Spike Jonze looks and sounds like a guy you would like to hang out with.
Fuck yeah, at least one Oscar for Her.
Linklater was snubbed, Winter was snubbed, Coogan was snubbed. I mean, 12 Years a Slave had strong elements, but script certainly wasn't one.
But hey, I don't remember the last time when Acadamy...
It was decent, I liked it in a movie, but Moon Song was simply better and more memorable.
Philomena was really good. I can recommend it to you wholeheartedly, though it's probably not exactly what you think it is.
To be honest Alfonso Cuaron really deserves for Best Direction.
Gravity certainly had a fine score, it fitted well with the entire film, that must be admitted.
But to win over Her? That's slightly disappointing.
"Before Midnight" is the only film that could compete with "Her" this year, but yeah, that won't happen.
Wow, those assholes cheering and clapping during In Memoriam. Every, fucking year.
At least Will hasn't brought him to the show.
Hahahah, these montages look so horribly. I've seen a fan edits made better than this.
And Mind Heist, seriously? Nowadays it's such a mundane choice like Lux Aeterna
Sidney Poitier is this year's Tommy Lee Jones. There was a cut to him several times, and not even once he cracked a smile.
You're just in time for major categories.
Gravity has won only BAFTA, and two of the Guild Awards, if I'm not wrong, I'm too lazy to Google. Rest was swept by 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle.
I wonder if Gravity may win a Best Picture after all.
Based Murray, remembering about Harold Ramis.
While I liked the introduction jokes (Michael B. Jordan & Kristen B. Ell made me actually chuckle), the rest is cringeworthy, it's even worse than Seth MacFarlene last year.
Regardless of AH quality, you have to admit it would be hilarious if it would be snubbed out of all 10 nominations. And I thought it was bad when Silver Linings Playbook won 1 out of 8.
The only fucking thing that American Hustle could've been sure. I'm optimistic about the rest of the show.
inb4 Meryl Streep out of fucking nowhere.
Well, Gravity is on its way to win all technical awards.
3rd March 2014
Best Supporting Actress. Here's to snub American Hustle.
I dislike U2 and Bono, but yeah, this song is actually really good. But it was nominated because of Mandela, not anything else.
