So, you're able to post here countless times yet you can't ask a single question to blueNES? Didn't you have to talk him before about even making the texture in the first place?
Buddy, you're not going to get very far if you keep making remarks like these about the modeler, regardless of whether it's true. It makes you look like an ass, and no-one will want to work with you....
This is still irrelevant to what neo said.
What? You can't get a good sense of the texture unless you see it on the model. I fail to see what the polycount has to do with it.
I think the jarate one could do without the big black "Jarate!" text, or you could make it a slightly darker yellow instead. The mini-crit text may also look better if their angles and sizes were...
Considering that he was able to move out shortly after and that in another video he says that he bought his gear himself, I think it's safe to say that he had a job.
The one time I ordered a Tau battle force from them, it didn't even leave their warehouse until a month or two after I bought it. It was in-stock too according to the website. But that was years ago....
Oh man, this is great. Even though I don't plan on getting married anytime soon, it's still nice to have the option, assuming this actually sticks.
It's fine. Lots of people use them, including me. Keep in mid that they're not as nice to use as the big names from what I've read, the generic craft acrylics don't hold up as well as the big names...
Starting with a result and looking for evidence to support said result is not valid scientific research. It's a heavily biased method since it's very easy to just pick out only the stuff that proves...
It has nothing to do with talking about gay people, it's dumb because it's separating people into arbitrary "types" as if everyone fits them and that's that.
It's as absurd as it would have been...
I was referring more to recreational pilots. There's a certain charm to old prop planes that jets just don't have.
Not that I'm a pilot, it's just that I see a lot who do prefer them.
I think you mean jet engines. Planes have always had engines, otherwise there wouldn't be anything to drive the propellers.
Besides, lots of people prefer the look and feel of a propeller aircraft...
Eh, may as well post mine too.
Yeah, it makes them look like the Dawn of War 1 helmets.
Modding is just a general term that encompasses all aspects of custom content creation for games. Mapping, just like modeling, scripting, and the like, is still a type of modding.
He did a pretty good number on Superman in The Dark Knight Returns.
Not to mention that Batman already has quite a few plans on how to defeat any...
So did mine. :v:
The headphones stopped working, yet the microphone was unaffected, so for now I'm using speakers and my friends in Skype have to deal with echoes.
I think the first picture works better, perhaps you could also shorten the tanks a little so that they're a little over half as long as they are now, and move them towards the back a bit.
It's about time I got back into painting. I haven't touched a brush for a while, so I've been playing with a half-finished Tau army and a Dark Vengeance DA army that's only been primed.
I meant the main fuel pipe.
You might want to angle the front down a bit to match with the pyro's flamer, otherwise the flames will come out at an angle. I'd also suggest beefing up the top pipe between the two ends a bit.
Having a look at the animations again, I seems like it could work.
What I mean is that it won't work with the revolver animations, and unless there's already magazine-based reload animations for the spy in-game, this gun would require new ones. Something Valve won't...
I like it, but if it's for spy, how is the reload supposed to work?
Thanks, I'll keep this in mind.
Here's a drawing of Olan Rogers I did, though I wasn't really able to capture his likeness.
Speaking from experience, that's the problem right there. If you're worried about making something specifically for the workshop, you're just going to be staring at a blank screen. And chances are...
No it isn't. There's no such thing as "talent". No one is born with an innate ability to draw well, nor have an ear for music. They are both things that must be learned and developed over time and...
Got a little bored, so here's a sketch of my second favorite comic artist, Jim Lee.
Why is it...
Here's a "quick" sketch of Jim Lee I did.
What's with the funnies?
See, here's the thing, the people who backed this don't have to justify anything. I've said this in another thread, and I'll say it here too. Complaining about where other people's money goes, as...
And the problem with this is that you have absolutely no business telling others where their donations should go. Especially since you are apparently unwilling to donate to anything yourself.
And as far as the whole "But there's groups who face more hardships than gays" argument goes, why even bother giving any minority students scholarships when the money would be better for fixing the...
Have some David Gilmour fan art I found. I actually couldn't find much that was blatantly awful.
I never did understand how Harvey Dent went from being a black guy, to white after becoming Two-Face in those movies. :v:
I love the idea though, if I had more experience with clothing related...
Thanks, I'll give 2010 a look.
Which version of Max should I look in to? I want to try transitioning to it from Blender, but I remember some people having trouble using certain versions for Source stuff.
None of those programs are any better for AO bakes than the rest. If a bake from Blender looks worse than one from 3ds Max, it's only because of the settings used to make it.
I need to start reading Gaunt's Ghosts again. I've read through the first omnibus, and I have the second one, but I haven't read through more than a few chapters.
I wish I didn't get into those...
I see what you mean, it does look better with the longer nose.
I'm going to move this to PMs though, so we don't clutter up this thread with non-programming stuff.
I was thinking something like this.
I quite like the idea of this, it could easily become one of those super addicting types. If it were fleshed out a bit more, I could see myself paying for it. Though I do think that changing it from...
Yeah, all you have to do is open the texture and pad around the edges of your model's UV islands. Used to have this problem all the time when making tf2 stuff.
That was aimed more toward Batmoutarde since the way he worded his reply sounded like he automatically equated liking with obsessing, with the 90% comment.
It's because mlp is "girly" so all males who like it are "automatically pedophiles". At least, that's how I've seen it rationalized here on fp.
I've never understood this argument. What's so bad...
Well, it's really easy to get that impression since you were the one who brought it up in the first place, and with the way you were complaining about it.
Oh, well bad reading on my part then. :v:
I fail to see why it's so important to you. Valve gives people minor incentives to participate in their community events, so what?
You only get games if you're one of the 30 people who contributed the most points for your team. Otherwise you get two trading cards.
Pink team represent, scrubs.
