you've got to be kidding, we'll be thrashed by Italy, beaten in the last minute against Uruguay and shamed by Costa Rica.
I've lost the will to care about football anyway.
if he says it's epic, that's cool with me.
good recommendation music for taking a shit tbh
I had this moment in my mind, and it feels worse in reality :-(
snape kills dumbledore and dies
watching 28 Up South Africa.. unbelievably depressing compared with the UK version. :-(
Yeah prior to seeing it, I expected it to be a two-fer movie with reflections of both actors capabilities. Turned out it was more a introspective film but it managed to pull in that direction well...
Paul Walker's final completed film. I'm not much of a fan of his career but had the urge to see this.
just as i suspected
it's that last film when you get a glimpse of truly what...
I didn't see any world music, I assumed all music was american
Characters are only affecting when you gain something from them. I have to say, even with little that was said, there was a lot more reality in their feelings than I can say for some full blown...
that ram album was still plastic sounding... even when pressed on LP it didn't do anything for me.
Then you listen to the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and you wonder why you ever bothered.

Daft Punk's studio records are still flat as a pancake to me, the live album is good.
really liking that top sound, I'll have to grab it some time.
perhaps to symbolise this sort of movement:
this is my personal favourite silent film: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Page_of_Madness
another one that was almost totally lost too, what's sad is:
what can you do eh?
Amazed after losing it that they managed to get it together so smoothly. Cred to Criterion and Masters of Cinema.
Quite frankly I'm amazed that there's finally a blu-ray and it's glorious.
Thing is.. once you really go into detail, some of the shots are just breathtaking and effective, and I don't mean just for the time. They're techniques that were pioneered.
Thing is.. I saw that flick without the soundtrack and people have been going back and forth as to which soundtrack was best.
Watching a silent film like that truly silently is one of the most...
anyone who doesn't get yoko, doesn't get john

this film is brilliant.. just so vital that people see this, even in schools this is such a relevant watch.

fucking old age sucks :(
i'm gonna start listening to Green Day from now on
I dunno.. when an x-ray is just an x-ray with the purpose of just being what it is, I don't think I can pass it off as my own art piece.
Unless I put my own stigma into it, I don't think it's...
so if i took a screen cap of someone's x-ray can i post that here and argue that it's modern art too?
or would that be incomprehensible :-)

I did not know any of this...
What a nice mother/son relationship.
they're screen caps of a lab chart and target from a film. it's definitely not an example of minimalist art you plum.
they're not inherently expressive. it has the equivalence of a screen cap of...
video games are definitely an art medium, taking a snippet to demonstrate the medium is not the purpose.
If you want to rehash the shot for yourself, then that's another thing.
wow this new info is mindbending
can i call rusty, ted instead?
how in the arse is a target and a bunch of lab test readings an example of free expression?

Weirdly, I have avoided their records. I'll definitely give a couple a go soon.
I never said a thing about beauty or message or anything like that.
If you want to list all the elements involved with experiencing art, you'd spend all day listing what goes on in the mind.
ebert's site is now about hating very decent films and praising very useless contrived ones..
That's not good enough. We need a lot less beating around the bush with vague definitions and get with the program.
At this moment, there's way too much confusion and can't seem to agree on a...
dude just drag the iso into the foobar screen, you sure it's music?
art encompasses a great deal of humanity, it is a major essence of people's way of life.
It's a lot more than just a bit of skill on a bit of paper. I can't see how it's a subjective term at all..
so let's say a film by definition is a group of frames linked together
a group of paper clips then, would not be a film.
This discussion opens new doors for everybody :-)
