All just for Star Citizen. I'm excite.
I NEED to go this year, my brother keeps taking forever to find out if he can do it
This? Yeah its piggybacked on the coil itself.
I tested the voltage from the "everything else" side of the (green plug) wire, where...
Upon testing the "input" green plug, the plug that ends up feeding power to the ignition coil, I didn't read any voltage with the multimeter while cranking it.
Ughh. Where next?
Yeah, he knows about it. They're in the middle of fixing that, but he's only going to run it in the summertime (because big landbarge with RWD in an upstate NY winter is godawful) so he's not too...
Okay! I'll update as soon as I can.
I'm lucky, now that college has started, Advance, Autozone and Napa are conveniently not out of my way any more.
Actually, the Autozone on the way I checked...
Okay, i'll do that soon but if I remember correctly it has a few different slots that the other end plugs into on the green plug. Should I just poke my multimeter around with it to guesstimate which...
Okay, i'm pretty sure, everything that comes from the coil is plugged in, and it seems like its all correct.
I'm going to try to do what you said with the ignition switch. I do have a test light and...
I'll have to find out, although I think I read that the '67 models had the 440 in it?

My friend's '67 New Yorker.
He got it for $2500, and it's got no issues.
It's buttery smooth, it's crazy.
I fit in the trunk...
Looks like it's not getting spark.
The previous owner mentioned that he thinks that the ECU is dead and that the fuel injectors weren't getting any power. Would that have anything to do with not...
Ughh such a beautiful gun destroyed by acu duct tape
Okay, ill post a picture and check it some more in a few hours after I get home from class.
My brother has a Datsun Fairlady from the 60's.
Okay, I tested the spark plug wires while cranking it and I got a whole lot of nothing. Checked the "king" wire, nothing. So it must be the distributor right?
Or would it be the ignition coil?
First day of college today.
I'm commuting to SUNY Ulster in Kingston, and I have algebra as my first class at 9:45.
oh boy here we go
Okay! Thanks. I'll work on it tomorrow afternoon when I get home and i'll post an update.
The other day, a friend and I, in our quest to get the MR2 to start have run into a new issue.
We ended up trying to get the starter to go by unplugging the old solenoid wire on the starter and...

I actually tried the wipers while the lights were on, and it didn't work even though it seemed like it wanted to. We've noticed different things dim at different times too.
Okay, i've got to head to autozone tomorrow because I lost my cheap multimeter, do you guys think I should pick anything up?
Also I found out that i've got OBD1, and i'm curious to see if any...
So we unloaded the MR2 today and yep, it's definitely got some electrical issues.
For example, when the headlights are down, the radio doesn't want to work, but the radio does work to a degree....
Unloading it off the trailer tomorrow.

I'm so fucking excited to go back down there and haul it up here next Friday.
I'm just astounded how nice it is for what I paid for it.
