I'm pretty sure I finished it. Entire map explored, too.
Is. . .is that it? Did they just not complete anything more, or was it supposed to be hella anticlimatic?
So I got down to the peninsula on the bottom left of the map. Suddenly, like a bajillion audio sources detected, wonder what it could be?
Minor species (photobiont) spoilers.
This was a REALLY bright night for some reason.
Maybe both moons were up and full?
Probably not 'secret', but there are quite a few things that aren't part of objectives.
I think I'm being way too thorough.
Spoilers for those who haven't gotten to the central plateau, or finished the starting area. Just the map, however.
Are those things fucking FLYING?
kryptex is a girl?
Didn't see that coming.
If you pay attention to some of the stuff kryptex links, it seems they've got some kind of superluminal communication, quantum entanglement I think? I forget.
Except for when you see a dark...
My perfect record, damnit!
So are the other rovers random encounters of a sort, or are they actually other drivers?
You're all in violation of your NDA's, by the way.
Since my last PC bit the dust due to faulty parts, I've decided to build my own from (relative) scratch rather than getting it prebuilt.
Maximum budget is $2,000 USD, though I'd prefer it closer...
I live within a 10 minute drive of the place, and I haven't heard of this, nor have I yet to grow an extra limb or suffer cancer.
Anyone know a good way to get rid of the gradient banding? Either in Space Engine itself or in an image editing program to correct it afterwards.
What sort of setup do you use? What kind of microphone, any pop filters, string up blankets to reduce surrounding sounds or whatever?
Perhaps not the exact thread to ask in, but you guys mentioned not to get a headset with a microphone attached. Would someone kindly give a recommendation for a good desktop microphone, then?
There's usually a limit on how many spells you can prepare. This is usually the how many spells you can cast for the day.
Of course, if you've prepared spells earlier (but not your limit) and take...
Depends on the system, I'll assume you're using 3.5 or Pathfinder and a Wizard or similar spell-preparation class.
If so, no. You can only cast those which you prepare, but you don't have to...
My current set of headphones broke, and I've been looking into getting some new ones, but I had a question.
My last pair, and most pairs before it were closed-ears. While nice and comfortable for...
Maybe if it was a 7, as that's only one key over. . .
I favor Black Blood of the Earth more.
I'd be considerably interested. If you don't get many interested parties on facepunch, you could always try /tg/ on 4chan. Seem to have the occasional 'quest thread', and high-quality ones attract a...
This is really neat. Wonder what they'll be doing to it in the future.
Asynchronous is dedicated.
Hence, the clients cannot cheat due to the server overseeing everything, but if the server itself is giving cheats to someone, that means it applies to everyone rather...
The thing about hacks in the asynchronous architecture they're using, is that (depending on how asynchronous its going to be) it'll be literally impossible without causing a desync because the host...
I thought they weren't including money donated through paypal to the kickstarter goals?
Huh. Doesn't Space Engine measure total mass, though?
Man, I need to start exploring instead of starting it up, flying to a few random stars before deciding to do something else. Maybe try my hand...
Surface gravity. It has a larger diameter, so you're further away from all that mass, meaning less total felt gravity.
Bloody bandaged finger, perhaps?
"foot-operated acrylic strip"
. . .But it's a wheelchair?
Man, how do you get Space Engine to export such a large texture map? Anything above 3072x1536 and it crashes for me, and I'd consider my computer to be pretty good.
Mine decides to crap out whenever I do anything above 2500 for planets, or 3800 for skyboxes.
Maybe it's because I'm using a laptop.
Found a Terran Moon with rings and life around a gas giant. Real cold, only -95.15 C (-139.27 F).
Anyone know a good way to get rid of banding lines...
Trying my hand at another panorama.
Anyone have specific tips?
So far what I've been doing is using export cubemap function, twice, occasionally...
Terran Moon with life orbiting an Oceania, undergoing an eclipse.
Anyone know how to get rid of those evil, nasty, horrible skybox lines?
Wasn't there supposed to be something about exporting a planets terrain/normal maps/bump maps/etc. in .96?
Try using the digging a ramp option.
