Retro video games. Currently I mostly collect ones for Nintendo consoles. Here's a somewhat dated photo of some of the stuff I have:
Not very noteworthy, but I'm working on the controller overlay code for the Android version of the Dolphin Emulator.
Managed to get it working in the sense that it actually overlays the images...
Just popping in to say I hope 4.0 makes everything much more enjoyable than 3.5 in general (I'm one of the devs on the emulator; 'Lioncash' to be specific).
Managed to make a simple tile engine that maps tiles based on what is written in text files.
The left textfile is where you 'draw' the tilemap and set the...
I code nearly every day. I regularly contribute to open source projects like the Dolphin Emulator, PPSSPP, Mupen64plus, etc. For personal projects I usually play around with audio/audio formats as...
I usually WTFPL all of my work regardless of the size of the codebase, going for the definition of open source in the sense you can literally do whatever you want with it.
Made a C# wrapper for libsidplay2 (library for playing back Commodore 64 SID/PRG files).
Crappy example vid of it working:
Made a C# wrapper for vgmstream (library for playing streamed formats from video games) Github repo
Why is there a need for two watermarks that have exactly the same information on them?
I usually play a lot of different genres (hardcore electronic, electro, D'nB, etc, etc), but I find I play a lot of Chill-Out genre music the most because it's easier to sort of easier to work with...
If it helps at all on dates, most of those Pokemon cards (especially at image 126) were released around the year 2000.
Haven't seen a thread like this in here (if I somehow missed it when searching if it was already made, color me stupid) so I decided to make a thread for game collecting.
Find any interesting/rare...
Will do. Just have to wait until Monday though. That black dry-erase marker is almost dead (it was used heavily before I posted this thread). That'll make for a better result though, since I can get...
How nice of you to check it for him.
I can't do that, sorry, I'm almost done.
Here you go, this is probably the drawing I really tried on.
Shirtless viking who was enjoying a good read...
As the title said, I just got a medium-sized dry-erase whiteboard so I don't have to waste paper when jotting down things. But instead of productivity, I'll let you guys tell me what to draw, and...
Started making a C# wrapper today for Libmodplug (Github repo here).
So far it seems successful. Module files now play back quite nicely.
Using ultra's player again to demonstrate:
In settings.xml make sure librarypath points to a valid directory.
Meh, I just use Classic Shell. I like the Win 7 start menu look the most.
Don't mean to be that guy, but WINE is not an emulator, it's a compatibility layer. (ie, no code is recompiled/interpreted).
Managed to get my C# wrapper for the libmodplug tracker format library working (for info at the moment).
Now all that's left to do is hook it into an audio...
Just wondering, but why is the "します。" there? Unless there's a context I'm missing, it doesn't need to be there.
Finally got my Game Music Emu library wrapper working (mostly) with NAudio.
Here's a vid of it implemented using ultradr3mer's player.
I had no idea this was even allowed in C (including lang extensions). That's pretty neat.
Having a medium-sized dry-erase whiteboard is a godsend for this. (also you don't end up wasting paper).
Extra toilet in case you have a buddy over.
The problem is that you clearly haven't set your font to Comic Sans, Papyrus, or Wingdings.
I really have a hard time reading that, but if it is what I think it is (switch for the opcodes), then I entirely know what you mean about it taking forever.
Not sure if you've done it, but I...
Don't really have an image for it (yet), but I'm almost entirely done making a wrapper around the library
Game Music Emu for C#.
The git repo is here if anyone wants it. It should work for the...
Go Here and look to the right of all the typography samples and you should see a link named "Download Roboto"
If you really want to, so as to make things less ambiguous, I can proofread/translate what you want to say. Living in a predominantly French town in Ontario, I use the language quite a bit. I can't...
In his message to indiegogo it states that the project will be developed independently.
There's several reasons many people in this thread are hostile towards you in that manner.
if (startNumber == 0)
System.out.println("looping gameRunning " +outputInteger);
outputInteger = startNumber + countingAddition;
else if (outputInteger > 1)
This is basically it in a nutshell.
To be slightly more specific:
Without Console.ReadLine() or Console.ReadKey(), after your if statement chain is evaluated, there is no more user code left to...
Console.ReadKey(); or Console.ReadLine(); after the last else block.
To tack onto what Neo said, these lines are identical. You don't want someone to unknowingly buy the non-special dragon vibrator, now do you?
Just found this in my house in my little storage area. I'll never use it, so maybe someone who likes this sort of stuff will want it. I'll never use it, so whoever wants it can have it for free,...
I really need to reorganize this room in general.
If you immediately try to jump on complex parts of the language, sure. Otherwise, I really disagree with you.
I really like the track That's Right; it's very nice and active. I especially like the synth.
I hate it when customers cut you off when you're talking in response or explaining something to them. I don't get bothered by all the other stuff people do at all, but getting cutoff mid-speech for...
After he left I honestly didn't know what to think for a good 5 minutes.
So I've been working at the grocery store in town for a while (a chain of stores called Metro). Before working there, I've thought that my town had pretty level-headed people, and unfortunately I was...
If you don't care about having that file (it's non-essential), just delete the file reference to it in the solution browser for MonoDevelop. It should compile.
Finally have Playstation PSF music file tag info parsing all fine through the library now.
Kind of happy about this too, considering it's easily the smallest PSF...
Have Gameboy GBS music files' tag information reading through correctly now as well.
It can also read SNES SPC music files too.
Here's the source for any of...
Made a program that can read information from an NES NSF music file:
I'm eventually going to evolve it into a full blown music player for NSF files, but I need to...
It's the mandatory minimum wage in Ontario. Here's what they are currently for all provinces: Wikipedia article
Started working last week on Thursday. Would have posted earlier but forgot this thread exists. So far, working stock at the grocery store here in town isn't bad at all. Plus 10.25$/hour for 8 hour...
