Is their render mode set to "glow" or "world space glow"?
Then I'm at a loss for why it wouldn't be showing up in-engine. As long as any images and the UV(s) are in the specified cdmaterials folder, it shouldn't show checkerboard.
So the only thing linked to your model now is the UV wrap?
If you have a material applied to it (as in, per vertex materials and *not* the UV wrap), you have to provide that material in the directory the model looks for its textures in as well as the UV. If...
Prevent passing through static part of world does funny things with displacements and models. I'd stick with the raytrace if it's not a hit to performance.
Did you do the collisions as raytrace?
does the model have a material applied to it as well as the UV
To precache a particle effect in garry'smod, you need to use a lua file. Make one under lua/autorun with
game.AddParticles("particles/file.pcf") in it.
I like it.

Should light it up a bit more, show it off!
There's a glow proxy geometry setting or something worded similarly. Increase that so the radius extends outside the mesh of the light.
What about a Fractal Design "Define" series case?
Maybe you didn't think of it at the time, but have you got any pictures of the terrain bug?
Why don't you upload its VMF if you don't mind people decompiling and expanding on it?
He attacks you if he catches you using the access tuner on the computer.
I use a GTX 560 Ti with an i5 3570K and 8GB of memory, it runs great. I run with the other AA settings that aren't FXAA, however.
that's where the knowing how to map part ends and the level/clarity of inspiration begins.
edge detect -> edge -> laplace algorithm
url except remove the "S" from "https"
I never thought of using the cliff rocks on an angle like that to emulate mountains before. That's very clever. :v:
Not that you'll really see it from a ground perspective, but I'd mix those trees up a bit in the back. The pattern is pretty visible. That's just a little niggle though, it looks really good.
I stopped playing like two days ago and I still can't bring myself to continue. I can't take the stress of being stalked by the alien xenomorph. :v:
I was shot at by them so I went downstairs and placed a noisemaker. Came back up the hallway and climbed into the vent just in time for them to run past and almost spot me. :v:
I am aware of that. It looks like the lightmaps underneath don't falter from the hard shadows, though.
You're probably better off making a model for the campfire and the flame then doing some animated texture trickery.
The shadows here seem unnecessarily sharp. Are you sure they'd look this way? If you're going to make them like that, maybe you should consider putting some window beams in there to cut up the light...
Could the protection be bypassed using a program like entspy?
I hope it works out for the best between the both of you.
That's exactly what I thought too.

Or maybe some other form of bombers, like they left bombs around baghdad or sent out suicide bombers.

I mean I see...
Looks like the background is a trippy sky and the foreground is refracting it. :v:
You mean like Half-Life 2's original fire? :v:
The particles used in the OB engine and upward's fire are actually animated, by the way.
Well that's that I guess.
When I first entered the marshal bureau, I saw the group of non-hostile civilians and thought they were going to attack me if I approached them, so I snuck up behind that entryway pillar and then...
What's the need for that level of protection? Seems like the most short-sighted method of protecting one's maps. It's not as if the server would never die, so it annoys me that he took a rather...
bbc's site seems like a super clickbaity website but interesting anyway
unparent the children :v:
It really brings out a greater appreciation of the setting.
My first exposure was to AvP, and I never liked the idea of Alien since I watched that because I didn't really think it was any good. Having now played Isolation, I watched Alien last night too, and...
That's what I thought after I watched somebody play it after I'd done it. I just briskly walked back out the way I had come before the people came over. :v:
I learned my lesson the first time and just went up to the second floor where that little viewing lounge is. Once the guy up there has his back turned, you can pretty much just beat the shit out of...
I was under the impression you could use a windows activation key as many times as you wanted?
It looks really good, but it'd be a shame if it didn't compile on the first go. I'd try for a compile now just to see if it does or not.
exothermic, meaning it gives off heat, would be warm blooded
endothermic is what you meant
Sneak if possible. On my way out of internal communications I was grabbed by one and I just noped the fuck out of there past all of them and into the elevator. They're really not that threatening if...
I have a terrible habit of overwriting all of my save data
I'm not that far into the game, I guess I'll just restart and play having learned my lesson about overwriting saves.
I can't get past the transit area lobby in this. I ran downstairs and back out to the hallway after I got the hacking tool and then saved, and now I can't get five steps back into the lobby before...
So are you planning to approach it again now that wallworm is a thing?
I find it's often easier to build a scifi setting around the appropriate textures and models rather than the geometry.
