Basically, it's a DSi in bigger.
4.2 Inch screen, that's it.
Oh, and that means "huge pixels" not "many pixels".

Japanese!|Google Translate!

Portable? Barely, seeing how it's now even bigger than the PSP.

Well judging from the bigger screens, this version might be for old people. Grandmas.

Maybe its for the "Heavy"
Little Stylus does not fit in big man hands!

Also i don't really seem why nintendo's rushing to get crap done
They left their mark(which is bringing fail to a once great video game company) already
Nintendo should give up on the DS's for a little bit and work on creating something or equal to more recent consoles
Because face it, the Wii sucks ass because of little games in the categories of "Mature"

How to get the full source code to Half-Life 2: you can extract the source code out for free, not so legal, very hard, but you can do it

Genius. Simply genius. They spend years milking this thing by making it smaller, and now...

Now they're making it bigger.

Well played, Nintendo. Well played.

They only made it because so many of their older customers complained that the DS was too small. It even comes pre-loaded with brain age games and a dictionary. It's for older folk and offers nothing new; chill out. If anything we should praise Nintendo for listening to their customers so closely; they wouldn't have even considered this if they didn't get enough demand.

I'd like to have one anyway, though. I'd imagine that the larger touch screen area lets you be a lot more precise in touch-based games. It'd be the unit I use at home. No more tapping one pixel too far to the right and having Maxwell leap into a fire pit seemingly of his own volition. |:[

I am still sticking with my regular DSi. I don't need a bigger one. Besides, that is not technically an upgrade but just a scaled version.

i miight just buy it if the prices are right, because i do really want a DSi. I mean i could always use my DS stylus with the bigger DSi, i'd just have to put it back in a case when im done

If I ever do get a DSi, it's definitely going to be the fat ass one. It would be so ridiculous to use that in public.

(and many, MANY more)
i think you'll find that it's common for Nintendo to go with a stupid color scheme (optional or not)

you just have to accept it

Holy hell, how many do you need?

Oh wait...
One to go into your left pocket (Ds Phat)
One to go into your right pocket (Ds Lite)
One to go into your left sock (Dsi)
One to go into your right sock (Dsi LL)

Ffs.
I already get pissed off playing the DS Lite, enough to chuck it at wall.
Piece of shit.

For some reason this reminds me of the PS3 pricing fiasco.

Like Nintendo is somehow slapping us across the face with wads (teehee) of cash.
