Console is registered it Europe. Your account's region won't matter.

EDIT: PAL and NTSC, heard of them? Even with a region free PS3 there will be issues.

I've Got Australian PAL PS3 made a US account, entered us key and so far downloading fine.

What kind of issues you talking about?

I just ended making a US account to get the beta....

Played it for the last half hour, surprisingly decent amount of players. Shame my aim is so horrible that I can barely kill, and I am getting pissed off with people who manage to kill me from the other side of the map with a pistol when I'm pretty well covered. I wish my TV was big enough to do that

Heh yeah, it's sucky to not have a HD television. This game is awesome. I managed to get into top 5 every round:)

I really dig this game. Anyone else think the M-9 pistol is WAY overpowered though? 2 bullets from that or around 5-10 (depending on location of course) from the medic gun.

My TV is a HD one, but it's only 19" And I sit about 2 meters away, which is still far too much.

That sucks. I got lucky and my wife loves big TV's too so we've got a 65". They're relatively cheap too, mine is a DLP and it was $1400.

Might have to nick my parents 42-ish LCD we have downstairs, it makes my games look sexy again

Bad Company is one of those games that look completely different in HD. I rediscovered it when I bought an HDTV

SD, is around 480i if I remember.
HD, I think it only goes up to 720p right now. Didn't seem to change my resolution settings when it launched.

Personally I got me a 1080p LG 42" - also, I sit less then 2 meters from it.

been playing alot since the beta came out. currently number 47 on the leaderboards lol. i only got 1 connection error and 2 freezes. wich is good for being a beta. i love this game.

Whereas I must be bottom of the board, have had about 20 connection errors and lag once every so often (especially spectator cam)

I finally got my code!!! I almost 'ed myself when i got it. The games graphics are amazing, and the guns are just waaaaaaaaay better than BFBC1, even though they are the same guns.

I keep getting put with idiots who don't understand what defense is, and decide to rush to the enemy spawn. Then get slaughtered by a tank. Excellent...
