Have them as stones that give off those properties and have them embedded into the side of the weapon like you would with a jewel, maybe giving off a small distinctly coloured trailing glow from it to help identify it from a distance
blast resistance should add some metal plates attached to the weapon

I'm a bit bored as of late, so I'll take 3 model requests if anyone wants something.
I'm not so sure about GIANT GOLDEN GRENADES.
Why not use regular textures for the grenades, and do the gold just for the eagle parts.
