I went in wanting to shoot things. I didn't care if they were human or AI, I just wanted to shoot them. I got in a wonderful corp full of actual nice people who've helped me out tremendously along the way. Month and a half in and I'm already running around in a wormhole and I have my own battleship, whereas if I'd gone it alone I'd probably only just be getting into cruisers.
Gotta love having friends.
Alright, I'll try and find a corp then, thanks.
News on the guy who lost that carrier: He lost another one, this time to the Amarr militia, while he was... mining in a belt. I am saddened that people can be this incredibly stupid. http://www.amarr-empire.net/killboar...&kll_id=258436
Only registered my Reddit account today, so I'm probably not able to join. No SA account either.
You may not be able to use the correct size weapons and modules for your ship.
For example, (generally), frigates fit small weapons, cruises fit medium, and battleships fit large (missile analogue would be rocket/light missile, heavy/heavy assault missiles, cruise/torpedo)
And as DarkMonkey said, you may be missing some other critical skills.
nevermind uninstalled fuck eve forever
spent the better part of my sunday evening trying to get my ship back from some pirate deadspace bankrupting myself in the process only to find my stuff disappeared
I must say the Homeworld 2 EVE mod captured fleet battles very well:
Only sansha and amarr are playable right now though.
Cruiser and up leave wrecks. Frigates leave debris.
They also got the coming out of warp thing right in it. Wonder how they did it on homeworld's engine.
Goddamnit. Got my ratting harby caught in a pair of asteroids. It sucked getting whittled down to death by a pair of rat BSs.
Now beigns the logistical nightmare of getting a replacement down to where I live.

apart from moving on to T2 stuff which im slowly training towards, what do i need in terms of skills for a drake to help me kill rats faster?
Do you have T2 damage mods? Those are easy to train for and pretty vital. Support skills such as guided missile precision or warhead upgrades will allow you to hit smaller targets or do more damage. Additionally, training for things like shield management will increase your tank and let you strip some tank modules and replace them with mods that will help you deal damage (BCUs in the lows, target painter in the mid).
I wait all day to JC down to 0.0, then when I can, I JUMP TO THE WRONG FUCKING CLONE.
WHY GOD WHY
Ok, done all the gameplay research etc I needed to do, I'm ready to start playing.
Could I pretty please get a 21 day from somebody? I'd use the list in the OP but I don't know who is active any more.
Will do, thanks.
I just had to do this. Seriously, jumping like 50 times into asteroid belts and back, just to get 4 million ISK. I feel so used.
Is anybody here kind enough to explain what uses there are for Interdictors and Black Ops ships?
Black ops is a get in and kill then exit as fast as possible. Most black ops use Jump portals to jump Cov ops bombers and T3s(/w cov ops Subsystem) to a targeted cyno. Most black ops use a Covert Cyno in witch the cyno it self doesn't appear in the overview like normal ones, Thus making them like a mini titans. The only good black ops ships are the Redeemer and the Widow (panther maybe). PL uses black ops fleets a lot and in large numbers. They cant do damage without numbers so taking on a 10 man fleet would be disastrous. so in summery They go in, Kill a key target, Leave.
I didn't get my plex in time...
Plant like 6 passworded GSCs at your belt, mine in a retriever or better, then when all cans are full, retrieve with an industrial.
Rinse and repeat.
Also don't mine anything but Kernite if you're in HS.
