I wanna go to Chili's. What'd you have?
Chilli
I've never read it as Chilli.
This is what we were talking about though.

The flame might be a bit much...
This thread is pretty slow. Atleast we're relating and stuff.
You can only do so much with the same 8 members posting.

~!SwAg!~
Took this photo last Friday. This car will be mine by this coming Saturday. I'll post photos of it in it's entirety when I get it back to my house
1991 BMW E30 318is.
I´ve always loved those BBS rims, and also think the E30 is the most beautiful BMW ever made.
The combination is just amazing.
Yes, my thoughts exactly. Basketweaves look gorgeous on them, as do Style 5's, but they are 5 bolted, rather than 4 bolted like the stock E30 rotor style, so I'll stick with The BBS basketweaves.
The guy who I am buying the car from actually did a suspension refresh this time last year, lowered it a bit on Bilstein sport shocks and Ireland Engineering Stage III springs. He installed E90 drophats too, for a bit more low.
The stance of the car is just perfect, in my opinion. It is tastefully lowered and not scraping the ground. I'm not a huge "stance" guy, so I am very happy with the way it looks.
Another photo, for anyone who is curious (click it to see it fullsize :D)
This will be my first car, and hell if I'm not excited for it.
You have no idea how envious I am.
I picked up my drivers license last Thursday and still haven't driven an inch. My dad took his fiesta to get it chiptuned (nothing special, it's 1.2) so I couldn't drive it.
Then the tire had a very deep puncture, so those had to be replaced, had to wait till yesterday to get the new ones in.
I don't have the money for my own car so I'm grateful that he told me I could drive his.![]()
I know that feeling. It's good you're thankful for your dad if he's letting you drive his car. I learned stick in my dad's Saturn Vue and drove it around for a little over a year.
I'm a student and I've been saving money for the past few years, this summer I found out I got a new job with an insane pay increase so I decided to get myself a car. Finishing up my freshman year of college and I'll be commuting to work about 30 minutes to and from every weekday this summer. I wanted to be independent and I guess more responsible for myself, so this is where I am now.
Just keep working at it. Everyone has their own driving experiences and unless their parents are loaded, most likely drive a sub-par car. It's almost a rite of passage![]()
