Did you read the prologue?
well yeah I suppose he could merge with his wolf , would be interesting
Are we talking book or show now?
Book, ADWD spoilers. Major ones.
Even more behind the scenes:
I laughed at the irony of his last statement
Edited:
sorry for using so many spoiler tags but I don't want to ruin parts of the book/show for anyone else
So, I got the Song of Ice and Fire series (sadly only the first 4 books) and I just finished the first one.
Man it was lengthy, and the other 3 are even longer. At least I've got a lot to read.
watched all of season 1 in 1 sitting, so good.
Spoiler tags everywhere and I'm only halfway through book 2, oh Godddd.
People have forgot to write whether it's a book spoiler or show spoiler.
Just finished the second book.
Hello
She also lives up the road from me
Does anyone know when season 2 airs in the UK, I've found two different dates for the uk alone
must be so weird knowing someone famous like that at that age
You just know in 10 years I'm gonna phone her and be like 'remember me, wanna share some of that money?'
Edited:
And she's gonna be like 'No.'
does she get a lot of stick at school or is everyone "like omg ur on tv be my friend please!!!"
Both, mainly the latter I think
Well, are you her new best friend?
I'd call her Horseface and possibly Weasel
Totally![]()
I used those exact words
"Oh my god you're on tv by my friend please"
Edited:
I don't really see where that is coming from but okay
(I wouldn't compare to a horse and I've never seen a Weasel)
They call her that in the books.
Do you have any idea of much she earns? I mean being HBO and all. Probably a couple of thousand £. I imagine the pay rise with every season.
I'll ask- it's 'enough'
But seriously when does this air in the UK?
Season 2 in April I'd imagine.
So jealous of you dude. Has she met GRRM at all, does she know anything about Arya that most people don't?
I remember seeing a picture with her and GRRM.
Man, she got to hang around with Sean Bean. I'm jealous.
Honestly, dunno, I'll ask tomorrow or tonight
If it is April, then I'm really pumped for Sky Atlantic's line up
Tell her to sign up here so we can squeeze out some spoilers![]()
Surely you could just read the books?
I wonder if they all read the books that they're involved in? I mean, it was useless for Sean Bean to read past AGoT, but do you think Jaime's/Tyrion's actors have read up to ADWD?
Especially Jaime's actor, he needs to portray him in such a way so that his change in ASoS doesn't seem totally out of character.
Well, they tend to deviate from the books, so certain things are completely different.
Like when? I can't think of a single important thing they changed, apart from the inclusion of Ros, but that was because we don't hear the character's thoughts in the show.
Well then I'll ask that as well, shall I draw up a list?
They're probably told, because you couldn't necessarily trust an actor to gauge exactly how to play it.
A lot more stuff happens in the second book though.
The relationship between Khal Drogo and the dragon girl seemed changed to me. In the books he seemed pretty understanding on their wedding night, in the show he practically raped her. To allow character development.
Right, important thing. I missed the key word. Derp.
GRRM is writing the most important episode of the series, so I can't see it changing too much. They were pretty chill with keeping shit the same in series 1, so I hope they do the same for 2.
Which episode is that? And yes, I agree, they kept it very close to book 1, and probably will with the second as well, but we already know they cut plenty of characters.
Battle of Blackwater.
They didn't cut anyone too important to the plot in book 2.
Agree, they're not that important.
Oh, and I never really managed to imagine the battle in the book. As in, I couldn't see how the location they were at looked like etc, so it just became a mess![]()
The Tyrion chapter was the best bit of the battle, where Joff is flinging the antler men in the catapults, and the Hound pussies out THE Davos chapter was also amazing.
Well as long as the over all outcome is pretty much the same it'll probably be alright, although I'm probably annoying some hardcore fans by saying that
I'll find out where you live. Or maybe Liam Neeson will. He's Irish after all.
