Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf - 10/10
Scott Pilgrim VS The World -54000000000/10
Worst shit ever
True Grit 9.5/10
The Bourne Identity
Got the boxed set for Christmas, I rate it a 7.5/10.
Pretty fucking awesome action sequences, perfect balance between that and story and a happy ending.
Looking forward to whenever I watch the second one
The Last Exorcism - 5/10
Pulp Fiction - 9.5 or so/10
Such a fucking classic.
The social network 7/10. Maybe 7.5.
I expected more. It wasn't super entertaining, It was just fine.
Why lisa? WHY LISA WHY LISA WHY!
Style was really interesting and it was very different. Only bad part was the fact that each mini-movie had credits after it, they should have just put joined credits at the end.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
8.5/10 (Just not to upset the fanboys, I liked Flowers anyway )
It was all right, but it was entertaining than Kick Ass, but it has the same effect, it's only fun once. At least the chicks are on legal age, now. The only problem I had was (since I am a gun nut) there was no firearms. But, it's cool.
I was very suprised at how good it was.
A Team: 7/10 ending sucked.
World's Greatest Dad
Watched Fight Club again 100/10. The movie stays awesome.
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging - 3/10
My girlfriend made me watch it with her. It is godawful.
However it is frighteningly evil. This stupid bitch who is the main character (14 years old I think) likes this bloke who looks about 18 and what's to get him. So to make the bloke jealous she pretends to like his friend and go out with him for a bit. Then the bloke she likes finds out and hates her forever (10 minutes).
There is another bit in the film where the 4 friends (all like 14) go to this pimp fella (15 I think) who charges money for 'kissing lessons'. The main character comes out of her lesson, talks about it for a couple of minutes and then another girl from the group goes in. The other 3 girls ditch her completely. They're meant to be best friends.
Damn it was shitty.
No Country For Old Men - 9/10
Let the Right one In - 10/10
realistic vampires yay
The Tourist - 7/10
Reservoir Dogs 9/10
The Big Lebowski
Great movie. Will watch again.
Tron: Legacy = 8.5/10
True Grit= 9/10.
Saw this finnish film called 'Paha Maa' today on TV - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388318/
I really like some of the Finnish films.. they are pretty pessimistic though, but this one at least was pretty gritty and dark and shit, very nice. 9 out of 10.
I'd recommend this for some of you Americans who have already gotten enough of the masses of American film industry.
Law Abiding Citizen: 7/10
People slate it but I still like it, also it always amazes me how varied Gerard Butler is in the range of roles he takes on:
Van Helsing. It was so bad I couldn't even finish it. 2/10
Good Will Hunting
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. 8.5/10
Interesting story, not seen it done before. Well done too, although at times the acting didn't really suit (not saying it was bad, I just thought the way they reacted to events wasn't quite how I would have imagined it) but overall a unique and enjoyable film.
Just saw Tron: Legacy in IMAX 3D with some friends. 3D was pretty much nonexistant but it still looked good, although $16 for a ticket is pretty steep. Anyways I'm gonna have to give it a 7.5/10. It was a gorgeous movie but the story was meh and some of the dialogue was just cringe worthy. Music was good but I expected more from Daft Punk. All in all, entertaining movie. I doubt I'll watch it again, but it was a good way to spend 2 hours.
Toy Story 3 - 8/10
A little sappy at times.
Most heartwarming movie I've seen since Forrest Gump.
I want to say 9/10 but I'm not sure, I was kind of confused by it.
Napoleon Dynamite - 3/10
I don't get why people like this movie. Other than the fact that the characters are almost original, it has nothing going for it.
One of my favorite movies. I love sci-fi.
Groundhog Day, for the first time. 9/10
A meh sci-fi movie that should have been written differently.
