    Okay, I had it set up wrong. Team colors do work. This idea works flawlessly and perfectly, at least for me (and I was on a public server to test it).

    Commence the battle for the best Rocket Jumper skin.

    Here's how it works: Open your items_game.txt in tf/scripts/items (You'll have this if you use my sounds mod. If not, you'll have to extract it from the GCF yourself.) and ctrl+F for "Rocket Jumper". You will see this:

    Then install one of the custom rocket launcher models just posted. (I used Dement's, haven't tested the other.) Ta-da, you have a skinnable Rocket Jumper.

    Hey guys, I'm considering starting messing around with Tf2 textures and stuff, does anyone have a good brush preset in photoshop to get the painted on effect? I saw a tutorial around before but I cant seem to find it.

    Nevermind. Yours has 4, mine has 2, and that was the problem. Still seems really inefficient.

    A more efficient method would be if this snippet worked:

    You should add a sign like Borderland's "Pis off" signs but with badly spelled variants of our names. Apparently it seems to be really hard to spell Rozoyo/Rozo, Deshand, Diemo/Diamoa/Daimayonaise correctly these days.
    Oh spelling AyesDyef/AyersDef/AesDyef etc is apparently impossible for most people too :P

    In light of Mr. Shugo's departure from making requested backpack icons, I pray he will allow me to take this mantle. My first goal will be to make Beta-Style skins for several of the hats and weapons.

    For those of you who are curious, here is my to do list:

    Backpack:
    Beta-Style hat versions (RED and BLU, except the Soldier and the Medic who will only have BLU versions, so they're optional) of the Whoopee Crown, Bombing Run, Chieftain's Challenge (BLU only), Dr. Dapper Topper (BLU only), Stout Shako (BLU only), Respectless Rubber Glove, Demoman's 'Fro, Balmoral Bonnet, Hustler's Hallmark, Sober Stuntman, Carouser's Capotain, Prussian Pickelhaube (BLU only), Ritzy Rick's Hair Fixture, Trendy Trilby, Backbiter's Billycock and Frenchman's Beret.
    Beta-Style weapon versions (RED and BLU for the Bat and Bottle) of the Bat, Rocket Launcher, Bottle, Fists (both versions), Shotgun and Shovel.

    Sprites will also be done of the weapons. I'll begin work on all of these once I ask Shugo if he could send me the X & Y of them in the model viewer.

    Sparkwire mentioned this before, but I'm not entirely sure what he meant. I think there might be an option in the smd importer to correct that behaviour. (convert from left-handed space)

    Basically, the instructions above are given a drag-and-drop-to-work, and the backpack icon included in NanoSquid's original download has also been modified so that it doesn't affect the default rocket launcher, including any renamed ones.

    Not compatible with Shugo's soundmod because I lost it and i'm not sure if he's updated it, so if someone would mind updating it when that comes around, i'd be thankful.

    Yeah I kinda was talking about the whole "modern day" part of "modern day elevator". As in, glass lifts or whatnot.

    Also, it seems kinda silly to ask FP to make a choice, then to vote an answer disagree.

    Strangely (Like the gunboats) it was originally for the demoman.
    If you check GCFScape, the only Beret is in the demo's file, unlike when you check in source SDK
