Alive in some other dimension - Atomic Raygun Attack!

It's about the Futurama episode "The Sting", and it's from a album called "The Sting" which they've released for free downloads on their official site.

"The Sting" is my favourite episode.

Could anyone here tell me the correct genre names for all of Meshuggah's albums/EPs? I looked them up and I just get "Extreme Metal" but that seems too general/vague to me.

There isn't really a 'correct' genre.

I tend to call them 'Technical Metal', but that's just me. You could say, 'Experimental Metal', 'Avant-garde Metal' or 'Math Metal' (and probably tons of others) and you wouldn't be wrong.

So, all of their albums are exactly the same genre? I can just pick one of the ones you just said and apply it to every album?

You can do whatever you like. I haven't listened to much of their stuff pre-Chaosphere, but I'd imagine you could call it all extreme or experimental or whatever. Giving your music a label is really for your own benefit, so just call it what you think it is.

A lot of it sounds the same in terms of tuning. I swear they use the same tuning for the guitars on every album. But the time signatures and riffs/drumming/bass is different on every album.
