I was unsure if you meant current or Chechen War era. Sorry.

they aren't generic because you never see them, unlike NATO loadouts
they're generic as you can get among the inherently not generic rossia loadouts
There's absolutely nothing wrong with your gear- when I say generic I don't mean bad, ACU loadouts are definitely generic but are every bit as practical. After all, it's meant to be functional, not just a fashion show. But what I keep seeing here is this:
-someone posts PMC/ACU gear-
reply 1: cool loadout
reply 2: crossdraws are bad, get a better vest
reply 3: nice stuff there
-someone posts flora-
reply 1: omfg awesome
reply 2: can I bear your children
reply 3: *splurt*
...And as cool as Russian gear is, the fact is that it's being obsessed over solely because it's Russian, and so people aren't going after the rarer or more interesting ideas. I fully expect we're going to see more and more in the next few years, as teams of such gear become more prevalent.
oh ye
whoevers getting that $50 kzm oversuit from ebair pls review

that one?
i'm ordering that sometime this week along with a Specter sight and some mags, will do a big review thread of all my rossia shit once i field it next month
yes
What is a fairly inexpensive (under $100) vest/chest rig/whatever that will look good with flora?
something like this?
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=6916
Kinda. I was thinking of just getting an SKS grab bag for now until I can get my hands on smersh.
If you want, I have an extra 7 pocket rig (the one that fits STANAGS and AK mags) from the grab bag. I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping. I have so many of these fucking things.
Wow, thanks! I accept your offer.
Cool. Just PM me your address so I can figure out shipping.
Not exactly Rossia but Ukrainian troops in Afghanistan are using the G36 now.
If I could track down some Ukrainian gear do you think I could get away with using a G36 with the woodland camo? Apparently the G36s they're using in Afghanistan are only on loan from Lithuania, but there's no reason why they may not adopt it in the future. Or alternatively I could use an AKM or Tavor.
I think their police force and special forces exclusively use the tavors though
unless you're going for that type of loadoit
Just released last night. Ebairsoft has replica/dummy Soviet grenades like the RGD-5 and F-1
http://www.ebairsoft.com/russian-rgd...my-p-5365.html
http://www.ebairsoft.com/soviet-hand...my-p-5364.html
Man I want the rgd-5, but it's pretty hard to justify spending $22 on a chunk of plastic.
or according to them
"50 % Cotton 50 % Nylon Ripstop made
Plastic made "
I'd probably buy a couple if I had a rig with grenade pouches on it and wanted something to fill them up just to look more authentic. But other than that I probably wouldn't buy them.
It's a novelty to fill pouches. If I had a -complete- Russian loadout where I was at the point that I was all "Well, I got my uniform, rifle, helmet and vest.. now what?" I'd probably order a couple right that second.
Same reason people spend $20 on a fake GPS unit. It's cheaper than $300 for a real one. I'm pretty sure dismantled grenades like the RGD-5 are expensive if you can even find them.
If I had money to blow and my russian loadout done I'd do it. I really wish someone would make actual airsoft grenades that look like that.
I have like 8 empty grenade pouches on my rig but I don't think I could ever justify $160 on inert nades to fill them
I would. But I'd also pay $700 to make progress on my Japanese loadout too.
What generally are the rules on dummy grenades? Like if you roll one into a room full of enemies, what happens?
They are mostly just for show, but in CQB, you can trick people into thinking it is real and having them move out of cover. Other times they find out it is a dummy grenade and just step all over it.
If someone purposely stepped on my dummy grenade I'd slap their shit.
dummy nades in my field have the "the moment it touches the ground, anyone within 5 feet are out" and referees usually keep watch. Also we have the, "if it goes inside a room, everyone is out"
god fuck, one time, everyone in the enemy team had at least 1 dummy nade and they fucked shit up. Basically I was behind cover and the nexy thing I know, I see dummy nades of various shapes and sizes fall in my general direction
they got half our team like that
What happens if you hit the grenade back at them with your gun like a baseball bat?
you would risk breaking your gun and the grenade while getting called out
unless the nade was a tennis ball covered in duct tape (which I've seen before)
That's why you do it 9th Company style with a GPMG.
why did i even
snip
Purchased 4 RGD-5s
Where the hell can I get an Afghanka uniform from.
no1 knows..
Is it an unholy sin to use MOLLE with a Russian loadout, considering MOLLE is American?
Russia uses mollee
Technically parts of the russian military have started to use molle, but it's their own kind, as far as I remember.
So, should I acquire a SPLAV Tactical vest or a custom MOLLE vest with $$$-killing pouches?
Definitely the splav, although personally, I dislike how it looks. The quality should be significantly higher than condor too.
Alright. I agree, though, the camo looks a bit corny.
