I love the hell out of my UHC. it only shoots like 280 FPS, but it puts BBs downrange very, very straight and very, very far. Plus it just feels badass to use.

You've been told wrong. Its not really any worse than the normal style from a posture point of view, but it gives the enemy that much more to shoot at.

Apparently it's good for match and competition shooting, not entirely sure why. I remember a vague discussion about it on some biathlon forum.
But as timebomb said, it's horrible for combat since you're sticking out that much more.

It has something to do with fatigue and using your bones as support for shooting, rather than your muscles (bones don't get tired)

I did match shooting with a rifle for half a year before I switched to pistol, basically the entire weight of the rifle is supported on your fingers at your left hand which is supported by your torso. If you're doing it right, the entire rifle should be balanced by only your left hand (or maybe your left hand and right shoulder, I can't remember).
The focus is on repeating the same shot while minimizing fatigue instead of good grip and maneuverability.

Today I saw a guy selling surplus Slo 4C. Jigsaw camo and other gear at a stand, didn't buy any since I don't skirmish but I thought you guys would probably like it.

Sweet, Royal Tiger Gear has a BDU set and a boonie in Type 03, along with cheaper than dirt ests. If I get a vest with that camo, should I get it in OD or brown? I plan to use it with woodland camo too, but i'm not sure what would look better with both.

I'm pretty sure that's just normal camo with the "spatter" filter applied.
