Oh, why couldn't he say it like the Devs did; It's F2P but you can purchase in game stuff that will not make you OP.
Edit: MMOFPS/TSRPGW/RTSCOORDINATIONPOSSIBILITIES
If you're talking about me I take offense at that.
It's very rude to speak about someone in third person when they're right there.
Massively multiplayer role playing game third person shooter sim 3D on windows multi player Ultimate player gaming festival.
I'm ok with that.
Ultimate player gaming festival.
What does one do in an Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game Third Person Shooter Sim 3D on Windows Multi Player Ultimate Player Gaming Festival?
They stand in a really big crowded room and grind a lot.
Like every other MMORPGTPSSIM3DOWMPUPGF.
Apologies for you getting that picture, I meant Dirf.
And I quoted you, so if I had meant it towards you, I would have used 'you' instead of 'he'.
I still think the ridiculously oversized backpack things look retarded.
Those Jetpacks/Power units/things? I kind of like them.
Not many will be on to play after a week or so.
It is a MMOFPS, but it still has a lot of RPG elements, like leveling your classes, finding new upgrades, customizing your stuff and the big open world.
If you call it an MMOFPS people might think it's like MAG where it's just a Battlefield clone that supports a lot of people.
Or just enclose the player within a powered suit, that'd be pretty damn sweet.
There's badass cellshading, like Borderlands, and there's gimmick cellshading like this. I'm rather going to wait for the new tribes game before i buy this, because i have a feeling that Tribes is gonna be better.
Neither of those are cel shaded![]()

I never understood the point of outlines in videogames. It does not make it look more retro or 2d, all it does is annoys people and looks ugly.
it annoys YOU. I don't mind it.
I don't mind it too, but there would be no difference it objects didn't have an outline.
true, I guess.
And it's still not an MMO![]()
It's to make it look like a cartoon.
Which it does.
MMO stands for Massively Multiplay and Online.
I think Firefall meets those standards.
Even MAG was considered an MMO.
.FAQ posted:
they're just defining "MMO" as "MMORPG", which is not the only kind of MMO out there. while they may be denying it, this game pretty much fits the definition of "MMO", specifically "MMOFPS".
This looks pretty great, I have high hopes for this game.
Actually, if I remember correctly it's to help separate characters from the background. At least that's what I heard in regards to Borderlands doing it.
Well, that too.
But it also makes it look like a cartoon.
A ridiculously well-shaded cartoon.![]()
I think this game would look a lot better if it kept the current textures but removed the cell shading.
Well, I'm hooked. I now have another game to look forward to.
Uhhggg i do too ]
I have at last count 36 games on my OMG I WANT THIS SO BAD list
This picture has the cel-shading and outline shader removed for some reason.

Wow that looks ugly :(
Looks pretty good.
Probably made a "toggle outlines" option. Let people who can live without an artsy fartsy filter taking up [insert thingy that it would take up here].
I like it from what I've seen.
This game looks really fun, I'm hoping for future videos that they release more than the rehashed footage from E3.
The new jet pack stuff though, blows my fucking mind. Hoping it won't be as annoying as Global Agenda's jet packs with their short energy span.
pretty much any game with persistent multiplayer overworld can be called MMO
by "persistent multiplayer overworld" you mean "fancy 3d lobby matchmaking system with stats tracking"?
By that sense, MW2 could be classed as an MMO, except the lobby matchmaking system isn't 3d.
