theres an NDA on it at the moment, its lifted sometime next week but thats mostly why nobody can say anythingI'd say less begging for invites and more talk of the actual game but practically nobody here actually got in

Alright, NDA was lifted about an hour ago. I've been in the beta for about a month now, but Red 5 has said that we are to discuss the game as it is after the NDA has been lifted, not how it was before. But basically nothing has changed so far in my time with the game except some bug fixes.
Currently about the only PvE content outside of about 5 tutorial style quests that introduce you to the game, is doing thumpers, grinding for loot drops, and crafting. In PvP there are a few different modes, the traditional TDM, there is one similar to conquest in the battlefield series, but on much smaller maps, and there is a mode similar to Rush in the recent battlefield games. There are a small number of PvP maps in the game at the moment.
There are 2 more battleframes in the game than is shown on the Firefall website.
On the website you have:
Recon
Medic
Assault
And the 2 others are:
Engineer
Dreadnought
The engineer is similar to Team Fortress 2, in that it can put up a turret and other constructions
And the dreadnought is a kind of tanking class that I would say is similar to the assault class in Global Agenda using a minigun, and has self shield type abilities.
When you make a character, you don't choose the battleframe you will be using. You can switch between battleframes at battleframe stations in the game world, but each one you have to level up independently.
The level cap is 15 right now, don't know if that will change or anything.

I signed up over a year ago and completely forgot about it until I received my key a couple of months ago, then I installed and tried playing, and much to my disappointment the servers were only up for a few hours a week, all of which were when I was asleep
Now that the beta's full time I've actually gotten to play, and damn do I love this game, I see no flaws that can't simply be ironed out during the beta or aren't inherent flaws of MMOs (which it really doesn't want to be) and it's all very well put together

I got into beta. It is fun. I can only play on medium / low graphics though.
Damn my 7 year old PC.

Don't feel bad, I can only play on Medium/low graphics and I have 2 5870s in crossfire, 8 gigs of ram, and a core i5-750. Game is just horribly optimized at the moment.
