I see that it's another player name, but it may be your alt or something.
Am i the only one thinking of Kane when watch Incursion trailer?
Kane the wrestler?
CnC :')
Ok so i was in angel cartel 0.0 and surrounding areas and couldnt find one combat/radar/mag site, not even wormholes, in 30 systems i found 4 drone plexes.
is this normal?my scanner settings were fine
Y/N ?
Look out guys he has a Merlin.
Ok, first things first, set expectations. Don't aim too high too soon. Ambition is good... once you learn how to play the game. For now, focus on getting a decent frigate and fitting it nicely. The reason is two-fold:
1- Doing this will only take a few days
2- Replacing a frigate with cheaper fittings is not even 1/100th of the cost of a battleship (and that's not counting the equipment...)
In my case, I can mine for 10 minutes and build a frig, the gear, and all the ammo I'll need for a week or more. That said, I am in a Hulk pulling approx 4320m3 every 3 minutes (and that's not even the best you can do... I know, I'm drooling too) Anyway, point is frigates are easily replacable if you lose them and is why they are excellent start ships (and with good skills, you'd be amazed how effective they can be).
The main mistake I see a lot of people do is shooting straight for battleship and then flying a giant turd ship into combat and having trouble completing an L1 Mission. Don't make that mistake.
Core skills all players will need to 4+:
electronics
engineering
mechanic
navigation
spaceship command
shield operation
After these, skills like Weapon Upgrades, Shield Upgrades (if you're shield tanking), etc. Also weapon specific skills to improve tracking speed (for turrets) or to decrease the effect of signature radius(missiles), etc.
As a guy who went straight up the mining tree as my main skill set, I can't honestly suggest mining as a career. These days I only mine to build my self equipment. The return on mining in high-sec is the worst it has ever been. Null-sec and WH can be good margins, but are also considerably riskier even if your alliance holds sov, so if you bring a Hulk out there be prepared to lose it at any time. Low-sec mining is the dumbest thing you can do as a miner and should never be done under any circumstances.
SiSi patching works now guys.

Got it working, and what changed?
Doesn't load the server for me now.
Stupid Sisi Launcher. If it has a copy of my TQ client, it starts to run the checksum checking but then immediately quits, so I had to delete everything in the directory and force it to download the entire Sisi client again.
Also my punch warp idea is getting lots of support on the EVE Forums.
Whats a good Caracal/Moa setup?
I have been training up to Drake and am almost there - but i want to play around in cheaper ships for a while that utilize the same skills that a drake would (since thats what i have)
shield tanking & missiles i guess - and whats the better ship to use for PvE (i want to play around in incursions for some fun)
Thanks in advance, folks.
Caracal is probably your closest relative to the drake, in cruiser form. Just fit some of them and herpderp around.
Punch Warp is now in the Assembly Hall, please post and add your support: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard...readID=1421897
you should include renaming warp disrupters to inertial dampeners.
Alexa, whoever you are on here, go back and edit your post and check the highlighted box:

Why did you rate me funnies?
Turns out my install was corrupted.
In the area where I live, we have angels and I find plenty of things. You just got unlucky.

Did you meet some criteria to get it reposted there?
No, you just have to post it there.
Thanks for the help with my ship and everything Tarkin. I'll make sure to pay you back when I starting making some actual Isk.
Goddamnit tarkin stop helping the newbies when I'm at work
thanks.
I need all the help I can get. :smith:
deal with it
You just laid down the law.
I got lucky during a mission, found all this in 1 titty-bar (I blew it up for S&G's, not knowing what was inside it) :buddy:

fuck you photobucket :saddowns:
Lets hope my idea with the warp thing will go through
To whoever made the post in the Assembly hall
could you also put in making the in warp effect more flashy too?
(As in what you see while warping from point A to B)

1:48 is what I'm aiming for but anything is better than the current warp tunnel effect.
Basically faint streams of gas with some kind of motion blur with red at the back and blue in the front of the tunnel
The visual changes would be nice
Eve needs a trinity 2.0. (Both Visual and Audio, actually. And an updated version of the older jump effect)
I fall asleep while midwarp.
That's how boring it is.
Congratulations, you found some junk. The Gallente Starship Engineering skillbook is the only thing there worth anything.
I want more detailed models, the ones now are ass.
You should see the ones before trinity 1.0
I saw a picture of the original Scorpion hull.
Ugly as fuck.
