There are loads of record shops around these days. Also consider checking out charity shops (though they're usually full of standard crap like "_____ sings the hits", you do get some cool finds, like my Phil Collins albums).

Getting the vinyls wouldn't be as much of a problem as getting something to play them on. I had a vinyl player when I was a kid, but it kind of completely broke, so it got thrown out. :C

I would be more motivated to buy vinyls if they weren't so damn expensive new.

I pick up used ones from the thrift store, and listen to them when I can. And I do have "In A Gadda Da Vida" by Iron Butterfly. So there.

I have Vinyl player, but it's a cheap and shitty one. When I get a new one I'll start listening again!
    Currently I have this:
Iron Maiden - Live After Death
    Metallica - Ride The Lightning
Metallica - ...And Justice For All
    Metallica - Master of Puppets
    Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?
    Rush - Hemispheres
    Rush - Grace Under Pressure
    Rush - Hold Your Fire
Rush - A Farewell To Kings
    Rush - Signals
    Rush - Fly By Night
    Rush - Caress of Steel
    Rush - "Rush"

Sadly, Rush is the only one of those I'm still interested in, but when I get a better player I'll get a more varied collection. Some Vinyls I'm thinking of getting:
Medeski, Martin and Wood - Radiolarians: The Evolutionary Set
    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61N88LkapLL.jpg

Emerson, Lake and Palmer - Brain Salad Surgery
    Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Sepultura - Schizophrenia (this one might be hard to find)
Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness

To be fair , vinyls are what you call the material that covers kitchen floors.
