I heard the Iron Patriot looking suit is being used by Eric Savin, not war machine.

And those talking about movie rights. Apparently the CGI Oscorp building was sent to be put in the Avengers skyline, the only reason it wasn't was because of time restraints. Technically if that could happen couldn't they agree to tie in the series, at least slightly? Even if they don't go all out Spidey joins the Avengers, they could have references and such.

And for those wondering why they're making an Ant-Man movie, he was one of the founding members of the Avengers in the comics. So if you don't know who he is or why he's important, that's why.

It's just that I don't see Ant Man as a powerhouse hero. He just sounds a lot like a sidekick more than a big name hero. Same with Black Widow and Hawkeye, hence why they didn't get their own movies. I just can't really see how much you can do with his power set, but I'm not too familiar with him as a character. If someone wants to tell me why he's so awesome, I'm all ears.

    He's a pacifist.
A scientist first and an Avenger second. He wants to use his scientific know-how to rehabilitate villains, but is constantly forced to resort to violence.
Basically, he's a pretty interesting character.
Also, from what I've heard, the test footage looked brilliant. When he shrinks, he retains the strength of his full-grown self, so he can be tiny and punch a guy just as hard as a full-grown man.

Hm, he does sound really different but still not starring material. I get the pacifism and constantly having to resort to violence, but that doesn't make for a starring hero for me. It feels like it would be a lot of:
Ant-Man: You don't want to do this!
    Big Bad: YES I DO.
Ant-Man: Well, okay. *punches him, saves the day*

I just don't get the big name appeal of Ant-Man. I can see him being a great character, but not for his own movie. He should have just been introduced in Avengers 2, maybe had some scenes where he plays a big role but I just don't understand the grandeur appeal of Ant-Man as a big name hero.

    Edited:

Hank Pym is also a total nut job, he has the personality of a mad scientist but someone who also wants to be the guy who saves the day and be the hero, and thats why I love him.
I never liked Scott Lang as a character though.

Also Hulk is a good 12ft in that picture.

These are the box-art for the individual movies

A larger version of this, but with only the left side (though that's down to preference), would make an amazing wallpaper.

She's like Marvel's Power Girl, but not quite as good.
I dunno, to me it feels like She-Hulk is stuck in the same rut as Harley Quinn, in that she just wouldn't work that well in live-action...

Well big news. Every geek site ever is reporting it with much excitement.

Fox has pretty much ran out of time on Daredevil. If they don't film by October they'll lose the rights to Daredevil and all the other characters the bought with him including Kingpin. But Fox isn't ready to go down yet. Not without a deal. They are offering Marvel Silver Surfer and Galactus in exchange for more time to do Daredevil. As Avengers 2 is seemingly taking a cosmic route this isn't a bad offer as these two would be awesome done correctly. But Marvel could try to mess about with this deal and take more characters back or not agree to the deal and get all the Daredevil characters back instead.

Personally I hope they go for the "Give us all the Fantastic 4 characters back and let us co-fund Daredevil" route. Because Fox is in a tricky situation and I doubt they want to loose Daredevil, they've put a lot into this reboot. That way Marvel gets one of their biggest players back and can bring elements of Daredevil into their universe. They already were working on crossing over with Amazing Spider-man but ran out of time and now the big rumour is that Andrew Garfield is in Avengers 2 as Spidey due to a deal cut by executives. So this isn't out of the question. If Marvel plays their cards right they could end up with each property back without even having to ask.

Joss Whedon to Write & Direct Avengers 2
Earth's Mightiest Heroes have reason to celebrate, as "Marvel's The Avengers" director Joss Whedon will return to the cinematic House of Ideas!

Joss Whedon has signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios for film and television through the end of June 2015. As part of that deal, Whedon will write and direct "Marvel’s The Avengers 2" as well as help develop a new live-action series for Marvel Television at ABC. He will also contribute creatively to the next phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.

    TV Series?
Hopefully it's just a one-off about a lower-tier Marvel hero or someone who wouldn't really fit in the Avengers-verse (Punisher or Luke Cage/Iron Fist could make for an awesome series), I really don't want to have to watch some (possibly crappy) TV show just so I stay caught-up on the story and canon of the movies.
Not to mention, I REALLY don't want them to spread themselves too thin. Market saturation is never a good thing.
I'm confident that it'll all work out for the best, but I can't help that same little feeling I had when Avengers was coming out, just "Don't fuck this up, you've all worked so hard, for the love of GOD do NOT fuck this up..."

Did you just list Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Punisher as low tier? Low teir would be shit like Whizzer or Two-Gun kid.

Im hoping they use the TV show introduce characters into the MCU who wouldn't hold their own movie ie Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Tigra.

By low-tier I mean characters who aren't as profitable as the real heavy-hitters.
Your average moviegoer would have a decent amount of knowledge about guys like Hulk or Spider-Man, but characters like Luke Cage are farther out of the public eye.
