Can we discuss pop in here as well since the posting is kind of slow and this is the only thread on the forum that still might appreciate pop, or should I not even try? haha

Haha I don't know enough about Pop to actually make one, I just know I enjoy some of it. Sometimes I even have trouble identifying pop bands. Black Eyed Peas are a pop band correct?

I just made that word up to categorize stuff better. Imo, mainstream hip-hop doesn't always sound pop-like.

If anyone has a place to download awesome jazz samples, do post! I'm trying to get into the groove of using my MPD 18 and jazz samples are amazing, especially ones with the saxophone, and I could really use those.

Your local record store is a GREAT place, minus the download part.

I honestly don't think this town has a record store, and I don't have a record player or turntable so I don't really see how I could actually sample. :ohdear:

End of days-Vinnie Paz (of jedi mind tricks)

Great fucking song, Vinnie Paz is really good at spitting rhymes. Also can someone explain the difference between Jedi mind tricks and Army of the Pharaohs, Vinnie Paz is in both ,like the song Dump the clip is a Army of the Pharaohs song but presented by jedi mind tricks? Is one of the groups a label to the other or what the hell?

    I am confused.

    Good shit

Jedi Mind Tricks is a trio, Army of the Pharoahs is a supergroup.

Yeah, also regarding the "presented by," Jedi Mind Tricks is the most famous group in Army of the Pharaohs, so they put their name on stuff their friends put out to get it more attention. Sort of like how you have movies "Presented by Quentin Tarantino" or whatever that were actually directed by someone else.
