Rap in another language blows my mind
Will it rhyme if I know how to speak that language or what
I love this. They used the first verse in get yo ride on too
No I mean if I spoke and understood the language of the song would it rhyme in my perspective?
You should be able to hear whether it rhymes whether you speak the language or not.
I dunno, he could be using words for things that rhyme. Like lets say the....dutch word for train is "hadabadajabablah" and the dutch word for rain is "tyrybymyky" (i'm tearing apart your language sorry dutchies). So he raps
"I caught a hadabadajabablah
after walking in the tyrybymyky"
Does that make sense if I knew dutch or is it just stupid all around
That doesn't make any sense, they rhyme words that rhyme in their language
English isn't the "default" language that everyone else compares their language to
Google Translate tells me the title is "The style is fatal"
He must be rapping about rapping.
a tribe called quest. Bringing rap back to the fuckin 90's
I think other languages in general just confuse me. It's most likely just having heard and spoken nothing but english for so long every other language just sounds like gibberish to me lol Well anyways enough of that
Just had some major nostalgia The original came out in 04
I fucking love how much effort people on rap genius put into explaining songs, when their explanation is probably way more in depth than the artists intended. Especially when it comes to DR
Seems like Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell has them stumped.

For good non-English rap I'd recommend Fabri Fibra, really got some good style IMO:
