Sounds good, but what version are you talking about?

1866.
Best Mount And Blade mod of all time.
Alright, I'll probably get Fire & Sword.
At least this time if some asshole tries to twitch me to death in multiplayer I can just shoot him!
I was talking about the Chinese WW2 mod for the original mount and blade. Non warbands M&B
Anyone have a link to the siege mod for Warband? I can't find it for the life of me.
Siege mod?
The one that adds more siege ladders and etc.
Expanded Gameplay 2.
So after I'm finished with my current play through(vassal of sarranids) i want to have a role play character, but I cant decide what role i should play.
I've thought of a few:
knight character, centered in swadia, with a goal of being righteous and chivalrous, and being mainly heavy cavalry.
steppe nomad, not joining a faction as a vassal, but getting large army of horse archers etc, and being a mercenary. intent of taking over khergits and being khan and being a huge horde and invading the other kingdoms.
viking, focus on infantry completely, having armies of huscarls and archers, not sure of what the over arching goal would be. maybe trying to survive as a band of raiders completely independent of factions.
any body got any other ideas?
I would say the best thing to do is have something focus on great calvary with shitty infantry as reinforcements. Make it seem um, conscription wise.
Should I get Warband? I might get fire and sword if I like Warband.
What can I expect from this game? It has gotten some hype and I am not sure if I might like it or not.
Warbands is a better looking mount and blade with engine improvements.
That's about it aside from multiplayer. I would say get it if you want to play mods.
Since half of them are for warbands anyway.
Bought Mount & Blade yesterday, love it.
Also bought Warband today.
I remember buying Mount and Blade and loving it, and then hearing about Warband being made and multiplayer
I thought it was going to be good :saddowns:
Why didn't you like it? It made everything better
shoutouts to maclaren aka fkpuz for buying me warband
Game's on sale right now on Steam, all three games for 15€. Is it worth it?
Oh god yes.
Just came in to say that Fire and Sword will be infested with people who bought it just for the TF2 hats. Kind of like how Robin ruined Killing floor with its TF2 deal.
Wasn't with fire and sword released like two years ago, except no one bothered to translate it from Polish?
Where do you get that from?
Thanks for the shit stir, we can consider ourselves "enlightened"![]()
Do we get a Wheatley hat in Fire and the Sword then????
A shame its not for Warband :smith:
It was a hell of a fun.
Well its the truth. I highly doubt it'd jump to the 2nd most bought game on steam without the help of hats, regardless of how fun the game is. For some its the extra incentive, for others, its just a free game for two hats.
what the fuck is the appeal of hats anyway
Showing off in front of other players.
So far, the only mod I've seen with a SP that actually has life, like a whole lot of lords running around is PoP(Prophesy of Pendor).
I also don't like mods which darken the mood of the game, makes M&B kind of boring.
Anyone knows of a mod that gives you clearer skies, and even brightens the metagame map thing in some way? All skyboxes, to be exact.
One of my main gripes with the series has to be how little progress the factions make in war.
Ive never seen the AI take a town, even after playing for 285 ingame days. (in the original).
The only mod that ive seen change it is Blood&Steel, which is what makes it so addicting.
I'm playing Diplomacy only and shit's going down.
What's so special about diplomacy?
Well, its basically vanilla with some little changes.
But I see the factions fucking each other up badly, so I guess it overhauls the AI a bit.
Edited:
Here you got the features:
http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=1887
i've got floris mod pack with diplomacy and it may be the other mods but the AIs are really fucking each other up with 1000 man armies taking down towns
Does it allow you to recruit armies faster?
It sounds like they used this in blood and steel. I used to like blood and steel for it's extra options.
Anybody got a list of good singleplayer mods for warband? There's alot on the repository and I don't want to search through them all.
Edited:
Or are all of the good mods for the original mount and blade?
Is anyone else somewhat annoyed with M&B THEN M&B:Warband AND THEN M&B: Fire and Steel?
Not only does it make it hell for modders (at least, I think?) it also ends up costing around $65.
Yeah there are not many good singleplayer mods for warband. You can find all good mods on their forum. They got their own sub forums and form a list under released mods. [s] making single player mods.
Also, i watched a review of with fire and blade and thankfully you can recruit people into your army by going to mercenary camps. That's a big plus.
Edited:
warband is the new m&b. Don't fall for the m&b pack on steam.
I don't get his game, Are you always fighting or is it an Free roam with a huge map and lots of quests and things?
Is there a singleplayer mod for M&B Warband that does nothing but add new items? All the mods seem to be obsessed with adding a bunch of dumb tweaks.
the latter, actually
just watch a gameplay video?
