Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America have been made by Marvel Studios.
Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America have been made by Marvel Studios.
Distributed by Paramount.
Which has no significance of whatsoever
I liked Garfield in "The Social Network" but when I heard he was gonna be Spider-Man... I doubt his ability to deliver a good Spidey. Must be because I've grown so attach to Tobey MacGuire. We will see.
Except the legal issues that come into play.
Nothing money wouldn't do when Disney purchased distribution rights from Paramount for Avengers and the next Iron Man
Spiderman COULD be in Avengers.
Disney characters crossed over famously with Loony Toons!
But it's unlikely.
Edited:
I would love a civil war movie. It would be fucking awesome. But first we need The Green Goblin to be established in Spiderman.
Sony has the rights and I don't think they would be relinquishing it anytime soon
Is Tobey Maguire making a cameo appearance in that car?
I think that's a stunt double.
No it's Andrew in the car watching the stunt actor and stunt coordinator go at it.
Or it's the stunt actor watching Andrew. Who knows.
There's only so many movements. In turn, Mirror's Edge was based off reality. There's really no way around those key movements.
Confirmed they're going with old school Lizard Man. His face will be human shaped, and not lizard shaped. Still covered in scales and what not. Also totally cgi apparently.

meh. New lizard is better than old lizard.
Maybe the facial movements of a crocodile headed lizard man would look silly.
Is this any first person view shot with parkour involved? I think they look pretty damn similar.
In the trailer near the end, he just sounds like Tobey.
GOOD NEWS
Spiderman has his trademark sarcasm throughout the film. :D
As many fans point out. Spiderman was always dark, yet the character was always light-hearted and a contrast. Which is what made him a hero.
This will also make those happy who thought they were going to rip off Dark Knight. The press who have seen the film say it looks REALLY good despite not being initially excited. Could have another Xmen First Class on our hands.
And apparently Lizard is really disturbing and hulking.
CG Lizard face? Dissapointing, physical mask would've looked so much better :frown:
You've seen the movie?
Honestly, I just can't see that working in a 2011 comic book movie.
It pisses me off how people keep complaining about this movie just because they miss Tobey Maguire.
Shitty camera phone picture of the Lizard from comic-con screening, check it quick before its pulled. http://www.movieweb.com/movie/the-am...CxQGPW3cM5FLXQ
hmm now that looks like it could be pretty badass.
Clearly has a snout too

I take it back. Holy fuck that looks intimidating.
As long as the CGI is good I don't mind it.
I approve of this.
Yep. Which just makes me wonder what all that "old school lizard man" talk was about, since old school one has a human shaped head.
I'm quite hyped for this.
Edited:
Love me some spiderman
I just watched Spider-man Turn off the dark, it was pretty fun, but it ripped off the Sam Raimi flicks a bit.
I expect this one to be better
I was hoping for the Spiderman to be a kind of an asshole
I mean I'm used to the Spidey memes, it's a hilarious concept
Would you honestly want this
Instead of this

Seems to be more the Ultimate Spiderman Lizard
I hope they don't use Ultimate Green Goblin. I always liked this version more:
Edited:
Then again the gas could keep effecting him until he turns into the Hulk like creature to represent his complete lost of humanity
First image isn't loading for me, I'm assuming it's the original lizard man pic, but no, i've always wanted the new version, hence my disappointment when they said they were going old school. The old one is awful in comparison IMO
And you all thought the costume looked funny.
fawckin fannypack!
aww yeah! I love Killer Croc![]()
Uh, what's that from and why is he wearing that shirt?
It's from comic con, and he's is just wearing that as a joke.
It was during the Spiderman Panel at Comic Con. A fan in a spiderman outfit pushed up to the stage and the host was like "Sir please sit down or you'll have to leave" and then he pulled off the mask and everybody was like :O
Edited:
A) The Lizard came first but 20 years
B) Completely different characters
C) Look completely different. Crock looks like he's from the reptile version of Prison Break. The Lizard is House.
