Check the trashcan + boxes
Take a peak, gun-first, into that blood-spattered car.
Use the trash bin as headgear for david.
But you need to carve out holes using the machetes to make eyeholes and noseholes.
Wait what's this Energy thing we have now?
if you can, hot wire the car.
Equip the Skorpion and EXTEND THE STOCK. Nexus is not some faggot GaNgS7Ah
Im creating a puzzle to hotwire said car. :p
@RenegadeSanta: The energy is how much energy you have left in your body before you need to sleep. (:

use the tip of the dual machete to unscrew the screws keeping the panel in place
Enter the building.
try and open the cars trunk. see if anything useful is in there.
Curse the skies and cry "TIODOOOSSS"
Creator's Note: Maximo13's faction has been added. (:
Holy shit, who the fuck is that guy? Shout at him asking who he is.
Point the gun at the back of his head and tell him "hands up".
Also what was Maximo13's faction?
Wait... that guy you traded had infinite money! O.o
Ask guard how he's doing on this fine day, if he pulls out his gun do the obvious.
Throw meat at him. Then open fire.
The guy with the pistol... I kinda wanted to keep it secret. They're mercenaries sent by the government of this turf here to clean up C&A's mess along with the Vitae projects.
Ah, ok. Change of plans, rovar. Shoot him. Also, did you get the idea from half life?
Jerk. And no. I got the idea randomly one day, I'm actually writing a shitload of short stories about them when I have free time.
Edited:
Besides, the HECU are part of the US government canonically.
Ah ok. Also the reason I said shoot him is if they are trying to clean up the mess, I was expecting them not to want any witnesses like in Half Life. Then again it would be hard to destroy a whole city but that's why America has so many nukes.
Well, considering they are going to kill all of the C&A, David and Vitae included, I was asking the grunt (Not even normal soldier) who he is, etc, to get information in character. Also, I'm pretty sure nukes don't completely erase a city from the map, merely blow it up (But don't destroy everything) and irradiate it. Imagine a mustard gas shell on steroids.
Ok, this will probably fail, but I wanted to try something (Perhaps in future interactives) - TL;DR Section at bottom!

Combat System v.1:
A gun has specific stats now arranging like this:
Accuracy:
Damage:
Clip Size:
Critical Hit:
Critical Hit Dam:
A number will be generated based on the gun's accuracy. We'll use the Skorpion as an example. Let's say, the gun's accuracy is 35. That means, it has a 1 in 35 chance of hitting. So if you said, "Fire 6 rounds into the guy." you would chose a number between 1 - 35. Let's say the randomly generated number is 24, and you say 21. 24-21=3. So, let's recap.
- Random number will be generated, to represent a "hit".
- The higher the number, the less accurate the gun is. Eg. 13 (Very accurate) 130 (Very inaccurate)
Damage:
The accuracy will correlate with the damage. The example before was, 35 accuracy, the number was 24. Someone would say, 21 equating 3 as a final. Let's just say, the gun's base damage was 20. The closer you are to the number before, the more damage you will do. Example of a "hit":
"Shoot the guy 4 times. I guess, 21". 24, being the randomly generated number, will be the number you want.
24-21 = 3.
Weapon's base damage = 20
20 - 3 = 17 damage overall to the enemy.
Critical Hits: Each weapon will have a specific crit. area. For example, a sniper will have a high crit area. Yet the Skorpion will have a low crit. area.
Example stats for a Skorpion:
Accuracy: 35
Base Damage: 20
Clip Size: 20
Critical Hit: 3
Critical Hit Dam: x1.5
How crit. works: Since the gun's accuracy is 1-35. The randomly generated number is 24, and you guess 24.
24-24 = 0
Crit. "zone" is 3. That means, if you guess 24, 25, 26, you get a critical hit. Each gun will have a damage crit. multiplier.
So the final damage will be:
24-24 = 0
20 (base dam.) - 0 = 20 (critical hit)
20 x 1.5 = 30 Dam.
30 Damage is your total. Subtract that from your enemies health.
Armor: Enemies will have armor. Each armor will be more effective. Let's say, an enemy has 50 health, and basic armor. The armor has +15 damage resistance. Meaning, it will cut x1.5 of the damage out.
The Skorpian does 30 damage a shot.
30/1.5 = 20 dmg.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TL;DR
Now for an actual example, in-game of what it should look like.
ACTUAL WEAPON STATS:
C&A200 Guardian's Magnum:Accuracy:
Accuracy: 13 (1-13)
Damage: 48 (High)
Clip Size: 6
Critical Hit: 6 (High)
Critical Hit Dam: x2.1 (high)
Enemy:
Health: 50
Armor: x1.8
"Shoot the guy. My guess is 6"
(The randomly generated number was 11)
(Crit. zone is 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13)
13-6 = 7
48 - 7 = 41 (No crit.)
41/1.8 = 22 Dam.
50-22 = 28 health left
We could try it on the initiate, since there is a low chance of him killing us.
Rovar, I suggest not to get too complicated. This is only a MSPaint interactive, not an computer RPG.
agreed
I don't like it.
@Smooth Jazz:
I'm aware. (:
I may want to create a web-rpg and this is the damage formula I'm using.
Creator's Note: I may use that damage formula in my head, so I can make combat easier to operate. You guys, just keep doing what you're doing. :D
You all get internet cookies for keeping this fail-of-an-interactive alive. (:
Take the dead guard's helmet and gun and loot his corpse.
Does this feel like Fallout to anyone?
Bad idea.
Continue on through the building.
Creator's Note: Yes, it has sort of a Fallout vibe to it! Is that bad? :(
take the guys armor and give it to david
Edited:
then keep walking through the halls
Creator's Note: It's over 9000!!!!
Views...
Either wear the helmet yourself, or hand it over to David to wear. He's had enough bullets to the face as it is. Then check the first door and then send David in flailing his machete if unlocked.
