What pisses ME off about this is the total lack of reasoning ANY of you have for singling this show out, and saying it should be canceled because you don't personally approve of it's fanbase. The logic behind it all is so shallow and baseless that to me it feels like someone refusing to see "Princess and the Frog" because they deem the source-material as impossible to be made good, or someone refusing to play the Kirby games because the main character happens to be pink.

It pisses me off because people ONLY seem to care about the 18 - 35 year old white-male demographic in the board rooms. Kids, racial minorities and particularly women are incredibly undeserved in the media. Don't believe me? Let me put it this way; if there was ANY sufficient material aimed at women and black people, neither Stephanie Myer or Tyler Perry would have a fucking job. Garbage like that only succeeds due to a tragic case of lowered-expectations.

So when something like Friendship is Magic comes along, and kicks the saccharine, superficial asses of the Barbie, Strawberry Shortcake bullshit marketed to younger girls, a show that seems to show that the creators give a shit about making something good, you're damn right I'm going to play the role of the bard and sing of it's praises, because this shit deserves to be seen and appreciated. And you better believe that when the other idiots start getting pissy, I'm going to defend it's honor from baseless slander.

Also, you people better shut the fuck up about the autism thing. My younger brother has autism and will likely live with my parents for his entire life, unless they put him in a home, since he's ENTIRELY non-verbal. Tread, the fuck, lightly.

Believe you me, I tried to watch MLP, found a bit of PPG nostalgia in it and I thought it was quite a mediocre show compared to what I used to watch as a kid (PPG, KnD, Eds, Johnny bravo etc, but that may be nostalgia) And for most people that may be excuse enough to hate it.

But I think it's a great way to ween little girls off mediocre humor, to have less iCarlies, Rebecca Blacks or the next little girl fad. All in all a step in the right direction, not a major step, but a step indeed.

So I watched that "Outrageous Kid Parties" show on TLC, where parents spend upwards of $30,000 on their kid's 6th birthday parties. These kids are fucking spoiled rotten and they admit it to the camera, the parents lie behind eachother's backs about the prices, and in one it was a fight between the mom (who wanted a Pirate party like her son asked for) and her evil step mom (who wanted a disco party because she's a retard, and had credit cards so she was paying for it)

The entire fucking time I was gritting my teeth thinking "fuckm these people are morons"

Kirby didn't have much of a target demographic, same with Mario. E-rated games are for pretty much anyone, however, Hello Kitty games are not for all audiences, and that's where the ponies come in.
