my main problem with drums is it costs over nine thousand dollars to start playing, and you need to have space, and you always have to deal with people bitching about the noise

Doesn't cost that fucking much. $500 for my kit and sticks. Small kit, fits in nice spots, and a blanket to block out the noise works wonders.
