No, the yolk on the back of the suspenders should be lower - around shoulder blade height.
You'll find that they'll be much more comfortable to wear and distribute the load much better that way.

If you want to keep them the same height, lengthen the front and shorten the back.

Hmm, I think it's because there was not much weight on the front of my suspenders. I only have two 20 round mags for my M16 right now and 6 30 rounder STANAGs. I was using canteen covers to hold them because they don't fit in the M1956 universal ammo pouches, lol. But thanks for the tip. I'm going to get a shit load more 20 round mags and M61+MK2+M18 grenades on the front of my gear. I have a 7-pocket M16 bandolier but I wasn't using it at the time 'cause like I said, not many 20 rounders at this very moment. It shall be put to good use soon.

Looks like something decent came out of Zimbabwe... (anyone who gets the joke wins... and probably spends too much time on history).

Anyway, lightweight rig for weekend games, adaptable from 3 up to 6 mags with no problems, very comfy and breathes well.

It's an RRV. From left to right (or bottom to top here) it's got an MBITR, Smoke Pouch, SDS Triple Shingle+Ten Speed triple shingle on top, Spec Ops Brand Med Pouch.

No, it's my friends M60. I have a Classic Army M16A1. Some of the A&K M60s come with birdcage flash hiders, apparently. I told him to replace it, lol.

Mine came with the birdcage installed and the real flash hider loose in the box, but I have heard of people not getting the proper one at all, which is unfortunate.
