Use regular camo paint from Rustoleum or Krylon. It will stay on for a while until you wash it a bunch or something.

Get some boots and a decent rig and youll be set. I would go for combat suspenders; theyre cheap, reliable, and easily found at any surplus store. Then, just get the pouches and things that you want. Yaaaay.

Okay I got your damn pics. I decided to be optimistic and wear an underarmor top, not only to flaunt my girlish figure, but because I thought it'd help get a better scale. I did front left right back and I picture with a Mk16 if that helps relativity at all. Not the best pictures but lol. Mind the spetz patch, I forgot I had it on.

I am pretty blonde during the summer. I just buzz my hair down to almost-bald. It actually gives a really "tough-and-mean" look because of the shade of all my little hairlets.

How to be a Marine in airsoft (because battle:la marines are spot on to real marines:

A Modular Tactical Vest in Coyote Brown. Cheapest one by pantac is around 280 dollars. good luck sucker
Alternatively: IBA, or any other tan/coyote brown vest
MCCUUs, woodland or desert
(you can also use a FROG uniform or combat shirt or something)
light weight helmet or a MICH or PASGT or something
m16a4 or m4

It's a plate carrier that's literally the size of the SAPI plate. It's meant to ride high so it actually covers your chest.

* Desert MARPAT Uniform. Top and Bottom. Alternately you can get a Combat Shirt.
* MTV in CB which are expensive. Cheaper alternative is a Condor Interceptor in tan.
* Condor Pouches are cheap, in tan, the ones they usually wear are- Hydration Carrier, Two Frag Pouches, Two Pistol Mag Pouches, One Flashbang, Four Double-Mag Pouches, EMT Pouch should get you started.
* Tan Padded-Knee pads. Alternately, regular Knee-Pads.
* They wear a LWH but I've never seen a replica of that so a MICH 2000 will suffice with a MARPART cover and goggles with a cover.
* M16A4 or a variant of M4

That's about the most you need to get by, other pouches and what not help.

you could also use a 8 point cap.
as for alternatives for a vest, remember, the military is letting soldiers buy their own vests, so pretty much anything as long as it's tan / cb works

Also the Marines in Jericho used a Condor Plate Carrier to great effect.

And I'd really rather you didn't try to mimic my gear, I can appreciate CodeMonkey wanting it for his specific loadout, but you do realize any quality vest with enough decent pouches will look this good don't you? You just have to have an eye for it and pile a shot-ton of stuff on it.

I want it because it's about the same size as an RRV, infact a bit more compact in certain aspects but it has a cummberband and a rear plate carrier without having to spend extra. It also has enough clearance for a battle belt. The RRV lacks some of those features and I'd really like them back.

Also I'll be wearing it with JGSDF Camo and the vest will be in OD, different pouch setup and what not. It should look completely different that your loadout so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
