"FOX TWO FOX TWO! Mobius one is down!"
I had a dream about a creeper once after watching too many Minecraft videos.
:byodood:
This happens to me when I play pokemon blue Waaaaaaaay to much.
I hear the bicycle tune in my head for EVER!
Usually when something like this happens to me, i just close my eyes for moment and think about something else besides videogames, sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt. You should try!
This happens with any game you play for a long time. Once I spent 16 hours a day for a whole week playing fallout 3, every time I stopped and went go out I would always try to turn on VATs or make sure there were no raiders near my house.
no joke
That's what I do with Hammer. I think of how I could recreate buildings for source :V:
I did the hand motion for Ctrl + Z once when I fucked up
Shit, I've got it once with Pokemon Emerald on my GBA.
When trying to fall asleep (while under Tetris effect), I suddenly realized you can't sleep in Pokemon games. I really freaked out, jumped out from my bed and wanted to press the Start button to save the game.
:ohdear:
play minecraft, take LSD, win the world
inb4 video games cause brain damage

"i'm just gonna go get some cof-"
ENEMY SPOTTED
I had a dream once about getting a hat in TF2. Then the soldier appeared and had laser beams coming out of his eyes.
The closest thing I've had is a Minecraftesque dream. Where I was in a blocky mansion and it was windy outside and there were creepers and creeper head balloon things being blown around everywhere.
:ohdear:
If I play Minecraft for a while, I have temptations to put torches everywhere in my house while getting a drink or whatever so mobs don't spawn.
I remember one weekend I got ungrounded after being stripped of electronics for a month, and I played Minecraft for 72 hours straight. I went to bed Sunday night but couldn't sleep, so I turned on my light and looked around my room.
And everything was on a square. Fucking. Grid.
I started freaking out, and moving my furniture around by inches at most, until everything fit on the grid perfectly. I went to bed crying because my dresser wasn't small enough to fit on one square but wasn't thick enough to fit on two.

Not really related but in school, when I have to find a certain word in a reading selection I try to Ctrl+F it![]()
You do realize, whoever told you that is a successful troll. Right?
Will this also happen if you watch porn too long?
Just last night, I dreamed that I was in the Minecraft world, but instead of the World I normally played in, it was my neighborhood, so I managed to break the drywall of my house and started exploring.
It Was Awesome
I don't think I've ever had this happen to me with games. But I often hear repetitive sounds like the steam/skype message sound. That and when I wake up I sometimes carry out what I was dreaming. Like I'll wake up in the middle of the night in my bed and think I'm commander of a ship, and wonder how the fuck I'm suppose to command a ship like this.
fuck you dead space 2, now I cant sleep and have got a big footy game tommoz, well Ill just have to pretend the other team is necromorphs
When I play games now, I always hold shift when im near a cliff, falling to my doom
If I browse the internet a lot I often catch myself trying to ctrl+f through textbooks.
Why can't it work, goddammit. :argh:
Once I played Minecraft for so long I developed a taste for architectural design.
Oh god help me please.
The other day I was in a car garage. It was very dark. For a second I seriously thought "man I should put some torches down, in case a creeper spawns."
i have had the tetris effect happen to me, mostly in school, but very differently than anyone else: i keep hearing the minecraft music...
bam. bam. bam. bam. bam bam bam bam bam
i now also turn at every sound in the direction of the noise and try to see if there is anything i can fight with in my pocket...
i have used my razor and string to craft a bow on the tree stump i fashioned into a crafting table, gathered all of my dad's tools (axe, shovels, pickaxe)- only one shovel is diamond, the other tools are iron. tiki torches light up my backyard, and the ledge of the roof serves as spiderproofing whenever i wake up in the middle of the night and think that there are monsters outside i need to kill...
quick advice: dont play minecraft for four days straight.
i feel i dont get the square grid thing as much as the fear feelings i get from minecraftian nights are rooted into my brain.
What's neat about this is that if you're a developer or mapper, you can use this to your advantage in immersing yourself in the game. I actually developed it for hammer map units one day, and I mapped out my house to very similar proportions just by looking at my house and imagining the measurements in hammer units.
This happened to me, but with Penumbra. For about a week, every time I heard a dog growl I swore I could faintly hear this music. A lot more nerve-wracking than thinking of things on a grid, at least for me.
Once I played computer games for such a long time, i got up to go get a drink, and when i got back i mashed a button on my keyboard to put my headphones back on
one time my borhther played computer games until HE DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dont play a computer game
You've been infected by Miner's Eye MC-strand. You'll be quarantined and sent to a better place soon.
I was sitting in my math class, awful class with an awful teacher, trying not to doze off, and I was seriously contemplating mining a hole in the floor and making a little room so I didn't have to be there, took me a minute to realize you can't actually do that so easily.
Wahaha i do that too.I remember in GMod i was playing a map and i was in a building.I almost fell but then i noticed and i was like "Wohohho shit!"
I've been dreaming of minecraft like every single might the past two weeks
Also the other night I was talking to my ladyfriend on skype and I was really tired and half asleep, and I responded to something she said that was completely unrelated to minecraft with something like "YEAH it's like when you...take the gold blocks and...yeah you can put them on the apple..."
She laughed at me and told me to go to bed
I've been dreaming of falling in a ravine and burning in lava.
I used to dream of blocks after playing for hours
I remember once being so into a game, then when I was called, I turned around in game then realising I needed to turn my real life body![]()
where are you from, you just bumped a thread that was like 4 weeks dead
so
his post was related
would you rather he make his own thread or something
I am from NO-WHERE.
There was another post that bumped it by nearly a year.
On-topic, sometimes when I play Minecraft at night I look at my room and think that I need to place a torch in one of the corners because it's not very well lit and I don't want creepers to spawn in my bedroom. Other times I'll play another game and still think the world is designed with blocks before I realize that you can't mine.
I also tried pressing "J" today while playing Minecraft thinking it would open my quest log for some reason.
Funnily enough I used to be a Guitar Hero fanatic and I've never experienced the walls melting after playing for too long.
