I'm betting it will be modifyable by OEMs so they can include the bloatware in it, too! Enjoy.
I'm gonna put my computer on Craigslist for like $700 to see if I can get enough to just buy a whole new one from it, would be pretty awesome.
whats your current specs? Make sure to add more blue fans to keep it cool
Yeah, I have a few blue fans I took out because they were horrible. I might lower the price, who knows. I don't even know how much a better PC would be.
Phenom II 955 @ 4.2 GHz w/ 212+ (I'd probably lower this to like 4 GHz just to be certain it's stable),
4GB DDR3 1600 RAM,
4850 with 512 MB VRAM,
500w Antec PSU,
500GB Caviar Blue HDD
some ASrock motherboard.
I know it's not worth that much but who cares? I don't need to sell it, but if it sellls I get to upgrade!
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/sys/2287205059.html wow that's not that bad of a deal, I might not be able to do this D:
same EXACT case as me wtf
The guy's illiterate though, 3x2GB :V way to not dual channel.
mm the lack(yeah right) of hard drive space and VRAM would lower the value. But the clock will help! I'd say leave the OC as it is. but yeah just toss those blue lights in, put it up for $750 and let er rip!
inb4 sells for $800 :buddy:
(A typo probably.)
My Vista install got corrupt.
I only cleaned the registry with CCleaner yesterday, did I really fuck shit up? Had to do system restore, now my shit is lost again. I JUST CLEANED MY FOLDERS AND MADE SOME UPGRADES TO MY DESKTOP!!!
Also, I have two Vista install DVD-s, both are 32bit, both are from Ordi (A company that makes prebuilts) and both came with my prebuilt PC.
First was in the package of my PC, other was in the DVD drive after I got my PC back from the warranty. Also, At first I had some probably shitty Foxconn MoBo, it had a problem and now I have a better Gigabyte MoBo!
Does somebody hav enice rainmeter skins what to use? I would like a temperature monitor. I just can't find any. I have no idea why. And I don't like running HWMonitor at all the time.
And why won't my icons stay transparent on my desktop? Those will be black and go transperent after a few hours.
You do know you've made 190 threads, right? That's pretty insane.
I also noticed I was a fuckhead back then, too. But W/E.
Quick, everyone look up gaming PCs on craigslist and post them for content, they're horrible 95% of the time.
CUSTOM GAMING COMPUTER!!
Dunno if you guys know this, but i just found out:
I've got about 10 <250 watt PSU's lying around here, and i decided to rip 2 open and get the 80mm fans out to put them in my pc cause the temperatures are rising again, and the case temp got up to 56 Degrees celcius last summer and scared me to death (CPU and GPU temps even higher, i took the side plate out and blew air in with a regular desk fan).
So i screwed open two PSU's, took the 80mm fans out which didn't have regular connectors (ofc) so i quickly whipped up some ghettorigged convertor pieces so they'd run on regular molex connectors. Both the fans label read 12V, and lucky me, There's 5v and 12v on molex connectors :D. I also have a PSU converted into a lab power supply, it now gives me 3.3v, 5v, 12v, 17v and 24v and regular molex connectors. I hooked up both fans and suddenly they sound like they're jet engines. I put them back in the psu's, hook them up and they're quiet again?
Turns out all PSU's run 12v at 5v D:
I have now decided to run all my case fans at 5v instead of 12v, makes way less noise :D
It is also funny to supply 12v to the 5v motor that spins the cd's. Funny music (When putting a cd in) and dancing cd drives :D
I've been fucking bashing my head lately when someone asks me to fix their computer and they believe that one of those horrid fake anitvirus programs is saying they have 40 viruses. Then you tell them that the program is actually the virus and they seem to have know idea what your talking about. I guess computer illiterate people will believe what ever it says on the screen.
A classmate of mine actually pulls out all the cables out of his pc when not in use because if he doesn't 'viruses will come'
I'd advise you away from MSI motherboards, since I and people I know have had troubles with them, but that might just be bad luck.
I also have a gigabyte one and it's the best one I've ever owned. Never had any problems with it at all, and it does what it should do.
Guys, I have a question. I have a USB that I got free at a Stock Exchange thing a while ago and it has some stupid password application thing on it. I can't remember the password and can't access whatever is on it, can anyone tell me how I would be able to get the password?
That's a picture of the thing.
