Love the first and second ones.
Am I doing it right?

what the fuck is that on that guys fingers... cum?
My phone has such an awful camera. I only like to take landscape shots on it to use as wallpapers on it's 360x640 screen because it looks nice enough.
It's a 5530 by the way.

last one is nice

Took this little panorama with my Thunderbolt's 8MP shooter. Used Photoaf from the Android Market(free version) to take it and stitch it together. I honestly didn't expect it to come out like that...I just wanted to see how my camera worked.
The stitching's a little blurred and off(had to take each shot manually to get the desired effect), but I think it looks fairly decent.
I was in Rio yesterday, and they had this amazing street fair. Shame I didn't have an actual camera, so I pretty much just took casual pics with my shitty phone's cam:
I was so meh I didn't even bother trying to get artsy pics. If only I had an actual camera there... so much cool shit.

Edinburgh City Council seems to want us to fill the blanks ourselves.
Both taken with my nokia 5800, has pretty terrible noise in most pictures unfortunately.
hipstamatic is actually lovely

Sorry bro, but I'm afraid that's quite bad. :frown:
Pictures themselves are nice, but they are quite red. :raise:
nah bro, and why would you give a fuck anyway? :)
and yeah dai the point was the content, though they looked alot more sepia on the phone than red.
I'm not very good I know.. I'm very new to this stuff.
The keyboard one is normal, but I really like the cat pic
Thanks, that means a lot, I've never used a camera better than my old iPhone 2g's but I've recently gotten a Desire HD and the camera is much better, I'm not one for a lot of editing though, feels tacky to me when you add colour like the ones above.
No offense Angoose
I posted these over in the "Creative Photography Thread V4" without noticing there is an actual mobile phone version of the thread. I use an iPhone 4 for my pictures.
I've taken literally hundreds of photos using the little camera inside the iPhone. Let me know if I posted too many, I can put them in link form.
Also, I hate to "self advertise", but i've created a DeviantART account a few days ago. I plan on uploaded all of my previous photos, plus will upload any I take from now on.

Thanks for looking!
edit: Whoops, forgot to mention. I love Crhem van der B's picture!
Take away the stupid frames, split tone them properly and those are excellent shots.
My dad used to work for nokia, so we have a bunch of phones.
I took one apart and that's the 8mp camera.
Thank you! I'll take your advice to heart. I'll try to edit out the borders from now on, and will reduce the tone filters on them.
I mean, the split toning is nice - just try and do it yourself from the original image.
Both taken sort of spur-of-the-moment on the Toronto lakefront with my iPhone 3GS. Because I don't know how to edit them, nor have a program to edit them with, they probably don't look as good as they could with some "touching-up" and have a bit of a grainy look to them IMO. I took about 10 shots of this cloud front moving over the sun, and these were, IMO, the best 2.
This is more of a "let's figure out to do this" sort of photo, but I think it turned out pretty neat. It's a 360 panorama shot of room, using an iPhone 4. Some parts got kinda messed up, such as the computer. I can tell I'm going to have fun with this in the future.
Since it's a fairly large image, here is a link to see the original file.

I've taken some huge panorama shots using my iPhone 4. One of them rings in at over 8,000 pixels wide. They are viewable on my DeviantART account: http://grumbles106.deviantart.com/
Here is a scaled sample of one of the photos.
edit: I've uploaded a few more. I won't stretch the page any more though by posting them here :)
me an nature, were like

I posted a few of my photos on reddit that I took from a recent trip, and they got pretty mediocre reviews (I ended up taking them down).
What is your opinion Facepunch? Is there some talent here?
(The images have been drastically reduced in size. The originals are huge. I've uploaded all the photos onto my deviantart page)
a) get rid of the borders, they look silly
b) your photos are alright / mediocre, certainly nothing extraordinary
c) the people on reddit are dead honest, it is the kind of place you go after everyone on a forum like facepunch just says "great shot, I love your work, you are amazing!!", it really helps put you in perspective. I have done a few reddit posts to r/photocritique and I have recieved far more useful feedback (generally) than what I have received here, purely because of the honesty.

I have a bunch of photos, only a couple are barely worth posting though

Colours in the second one is really nice, also good perspective.

I'm thinking about buying a Nikon D5100. It seems like a fairly decent camera for the price, plus the fact that it can do video is pretty important. Any opinions on this camera?
