I would suggest trying to tighten up on what you're trying to show to your audience. Try making whatever it is that you're taking the picture of, the center (not literally) of the photo with the surrounding objects supporting whatever that main object is.
Thanks, I'll remember that. Also, here's the rest of my photos. Considering these were all taken without me knowing jack shit about photography, I don't think they're worth embedding, but there may be a gem somewhere in there.
I believe these two have some potential.

Thanks! But what's the criteria for potential? Because I didn't really like the hipster filters I put on them, and those are the only two I did that with. Considering EVERY FUCKING PICTURE in this subforum has that filter, I feel I may be in the wrong place.
I dunno what Kirby likes about them but I like that the subject of each one is rather obvious.

Wrong thread Mr. The Salmon.
This. It's not the filter, it's that these two pictures my eyes have something to focus on.
Just saw AWOLNATION live. Twin Atlantic and Middle Class Rut also played. It was an awesome show (but not that great of a picture)
Had to install 51 Macs today (Final cut pro) so I decided to mess about with my Iphone:
Photo's are edited on my phone, damn so much static!
Also I found this 15(?) year old Pd150 perfectly working!

mind making the images a little smaller?
I have a huge amount of pics taken with my iPhone 4 and 4S at http://chase817.carbonmade.com/. Tell me if you like any of 'em. (Btw, some are heavily edited so don't hate if I went a little overboard on a few, haha.)
I do really like most of them but again: PLEASE, for the love of god, try not to apply a unnecessary filter on nearly every photo you take.
Thanks, most of them were taken a while ago and I couldn't find the originals to the crappy edited versions.

Two of my favourites, both taken with my Samsung GalaxyS.
The second one is three portrait photos stitched together with a slight tweak of brightness/contrast in PS.

It's been a while since I've posted in one of these threads, but I'm moving to NYC soon and I'm planning on starting photography again.

I was trying to go with a "Raging Bull" type shot with heavy contrasted black and white but obviously film captures a lot more detail in the dark areas than an iPod ever could.

Have you guys tried camera apps? And how big are the differences? Do they really help?
