It looks really nice, did you also make the fire go sideways because of the wind or something? I hate how the original fire doesn't go sideways like it does in L4D2. Some more smoke would also be nice.

I was going for a more dirty explosion :p

the code works by finding the env_explosion entity and just attaching the particle effect to it.
nades and dynamite don't use it but instead have the default effect "explosion" or "explosion2" coupled with something else. I haven't really looked into it.

Add this in lua/gmod.lua

resource.AddFile("particles/vman_explosion.pcf")
resource.AddFile("particles/particles_manifest.txt") -- I don't know if this is needed, oh well

PrecacheParticleSystem("dusty_explosion_rockets") -- Optional if you don't want the lag I always get when spawning unprecached particles :c

(Will only work if the server has it, not the client on a script enforcer server)

So say for example: My computer lags alot with this. What would i do to revert back to the regular explosions. [please don't tell me to reinstall gmod cause i have a lot of addons and what not].

Delete the Particles folder in the main Gmod folder.

Yea it's not exactly a LUA thing per-se, but it doesn't really fit in any other section. Besides, there's a bit of LUA that I borrowed from this guy (who in turn borrowed it from this guy) To make the explosion show up.

This is the first in what I hope to be a series of particle effects, possibly culminating into a big old fancy package with many different effects for people to choose from.
