Are there any ads on the webpage? (Because I don't see any, and without ads how do you make money?)
At the current moment, my brother and I are not making a cent. But I know that if we keep working hard at it, we're going to profitable very soon. How? I can't say. It's a super secret.

Hey guys, I just back from a really rowdy Easter dinner. The family and I all shared a good laugh when I showed them this hate-filled thread, although Aunt Clara failed to see the humor in framing me as an ignorant bigot.

I have a bone to pick with a few of you. But rather than put it all on the line here, I'm going to respond to some of you directly (in a public manner).

Hello, Facepunch. I am the mother of 69105.

He has shown me this so-called thread and comic that he and his brother have been working very, very hard on and I will say that I am absolutely appalled by your rude, snide and hurtful reaction. Why would u be so cruel to innocent, childlike comics devoted entirely to killing time? I just want all of you to know that my eldest son had to borrow $30 from me to go to AppleBees, his favorite place to recover from his Aspergers Syndrome metldowns and he has yet to pay me back. That is $30 dollars that can no longer go to groceries, and I am on a fixed income. My two children do not have the social capacity to work and were hoping to use SpicyTornado as an outlet to generate income on their own. You have shattered that dream and now my two children have no idea what they should do with the $250 down-payment placed on the domain and bandwidth of the site.

You, Facepunch, should be ashamed of yourself and should apologize promptly, if not spend all of your recreational time helping SpicyTornado become the masterpiece my two sons want it to be.

And again; thank you for ruining their Easter.

    Sincerely

    -Martha

This is NOT my mother. My real mother doesn't even have a computer.

However, I really appreciate you having my back. Your maternal skills really are something special. I have no doubt you'll make some wide-eyed boys and girls the luckiest children in the whole world in the not so distant future.

The comics take my brother and I several hours to produce from initial brainstorming to the final product.

While some of the jokes have potential but not a very good execution, I really dislike the artwork. Webcomics with bad artwork (Such as Sonichu, Girlz 'N' Gamez, Gamer Chicks, Billy the Herectic etc.) are usually laughed off the internet. I suggest you spend some time and start improvising on scriptwork and artwork. Possibly get a tablet aswell.

My avatar is originally from a pretty longrunning webcomic and the artwork improvement is very obvious. Early issues seem a bit choppy but it was pretty alright, but the recent ones have definete improvement. Penny Arcade went through this kind of thing aswell.

Also, offtopic for a second, I noticed how two of my examples of bad artwork were from girl gamer comics. I must admit, it does seem that alot of these "Girl Gamer" ones never really succeed, I mean, the only one I've seen get off the ground was NPC comics.

Well sometimes ideas come to my brother and I when we are doing our daily chores. For instance, I thought of the Conan O'Brien one while painting my dad's fence. My brother came up with the Segway one while at his Kung Fu Academy. Others, such as the Nicolas Cage one actually took us longer than you'd think. Haha My brother was trying to come up with a Gary Busey idea, when I accidentally mixed Gary with Nicolas Cage, and then the visual pun just came to me.

to be honest some of the jokes are kinda funny

but poorly, poorly executed. there's honestly no surroundings to the actual joke other than the joke itself being said. maybe if there were a story or, you know, CONTENT then it'd be ok i guess

but to be honest most of the "jokes" are so unclever and so easily thought of that i can't bother to laugh at them because the joke is extremely obvious and there seem to be no attempts at actually putting that joke into context or even requiring the reader to use their brain. funny comics are actually usually witty and use actual current events, as opposed to your random bursts of "entertainment"
