If I start Chrome and FF4 side by side, FF4 is faster.
IE9 is faster still, though I only use that for keeping online music services running when I shut FF down.

On my desktop Chrome starts up faster than IE9 and Firefox 4, but according to my Peacekeeper tests, Chrome is the fastest browse still, with IE9 following and Firefox 4 trailing...

Have you tried the RSS ticker addon? It is very nice, it pops out when there are new entries and scrolls them in the top of the window.

So today I decided to try Minecraft on the upgraded (C2Ds with 2 GB of RAM woo) computers in the lab.

I download the legit version from minecraft.net and what do I see? It's not working, it won't connect and if it does, it gives out a graphic driver error.

I see some random dude downloaded a pirated copy and put it in "My Documents". I try it out, guess what?

I don't know why but these things run Minecraft way worse than my Laptop. I guess it's because I use a superior OS :smugdog:

My laptop just booted up and started ChkDsk. Is this bad? :saddowns: I know what ChkDsk does and it doesn't seem to be reporting any problems except it found a corrupted file or some sort.

Did your computer get shut down unusually? It might force a chkdsk if it did.
Nothing to worry about though, unless it actually shows problems with your HDD.
