Your clearly missing the portal 2 mapping thread(Ye I know its just a workaround for now) there is quite a few user created maps in there which are fun :P

That IGN article was astounding

Yet their cuts against Chell don't survive even the most superficial scrutiny. They're insult comic jokes, GLaDOS impersonating Don Rickles. I would love to play a game with a fat protagonist where the character's weight became a recurring subject in both control and dialogue. Chell is obviously not fat. From the first test room you can see she is a slender woman. Making fun of a character for having a quality she clearly doesn't have creates a sloppy dissonance. It sacrifices thematic coherence for the sake of a zinger surprising the player with how lowbrow the super intellect is willing to go.

I have a friend who pirated it. As unbelievably pissed off as I am at him for it, at least I know I finally have someone to talk to about it. Everyone else I know (and really including him but at least he actually has the game) have completely different opinions on games to me. Namely, that they tend to think gaming is solely about action and "shooting some motherfuckers".

I sent my computer to a friend of my father's ( He owns a Computer hardware import/sell company) for upgrades, when it came back I found a pirated version of portal 2 :smith:

don't get me wrong I'm still buying it off steam, hopefully.
